  • Small campus can be treated as a demerit as conpared to other colleges linke DTU , NSUT . But in the end ofcourse it does not matter asi ts just a matter of 4 years
  • Less infrastructure is also kind of demerit here . But slowly the classes are being improved than before .

Course Curriculum Overview :

The curriculum here is not very new as it's in IIIT Delhi. In first year we are taught Physics Chemistry Maths and Mechanics, Electrical, C language , Engineering drawing and Communication skills in both semesters respectively. There is scope of advancement in syllabus and is the need of the hour to sync us with the recent technologies and developments around the world and to help us excel in the tech domains.

Internships Opportunities :

The complete statistics is available on the college website. To name some of the companies that make an offer are Google, Microsoft, MotorQ, Intel, Dell, Palto Alto, Salesforce, Accenture, Atlassian, Intuit, BNY Mellon, etc.

Placement Experience :

The companies visiting here is increasing every year and the upcoming batch is performing much better than its past batch which is a good thing for sure as the improvement is really there. Also it depends on individual's hardwork and smart work.. how they manage themselves and their time. The recent placement statistics is approx 80-85 percent.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Since the college is Delhi based so fees is bit higher than other states but is considered relevant still as the benefits it provide in form of placements after college. So it's definitely worth it and yes the fees increase every fear and nothing can be done about it. For complete engineering it takes around 9 to 10 lakes considering all the expenses that a student can make excluding hostel fees ofcourse.

Campus Life :

We have annual fest named Taarangana and is considered one of the really good fests among delhi colleges . Also we have Innerve as our technical fest and it's also really good. There are several societies ranging from dramatics to dance , literature to music and what not .

Admission :

To get into IGDTUW, Jee Mains marks are taken into account and the cutoff varies from year to year. It's always better to compare it with the previous year's cutoff. Reservation persists and is in accordance with what the constitution says about it and application is to be filled in separate JAC Delhi counselling after the announcement of the result of Jee mains.

Faculty :

We have around 70-80 students in our class and it's a small batch size as compared to other good colleges. Also the faculty to student ratio is quite good and we never feel disconnected in regard of proper communication and coordination with them. Some teachers are really good and teach much better whereas some are average. Also the understanding varies from student to student and depend on their syncing with the faculty.

Placement Experience:

Placements are going abyssmal recently. due to sudden hike in number of students and the recession going on, there is utter discomfort among students regarding the placement season. most companies do visit the campus, but theyjust take 2 or 3 students and leave. the packages are pretty good, but only few people get to bag those. so at the end of season, there is a few population placed in good companies, and a big population left unemployed.

Placement Experience:

The campus placement is okayish nor too good neither too bad the average package here is around 6 lpa which is less but some companies do come and place the students in the campus itself also the network of alumni is good they also apply for offcampus placement and try build a network for the juniors. We often get internship notification from our seniors only

DU has many reputable colleges and departments that offer high-quality education, but like any institution, there may be variations in the quality of education depending on the specific course, faculty members, resources available, and other factors. there is some frequency for exam along with your perspective on their moderate level

From 4th semester companies started hiring interns which happens incampus obviously and they also pay kind of decent stipend somewhere around 20-40k. Placements here is decent enough like if you want that 1cr package you'll have to look for off campus placement.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I wanted to pursue engineering and ipu has a great reputation. placements is also decent.Faculty is nice and teaching method is also nice. Student ratio is pretty bad especially in cse. There are two exams in one semester the midsem and endsem. Exams are moderately difficult. The college is also in a very lively location in Delhi and has many places for students to hang out. Faculty at msit, is well educated and best at their job of teaching, almost all the teachers are experience holders, teaching at msit. It's easy to pass the exams If you study from teachers notes because most of the questions are related to their notes in midsem and endsem. Exams are of 30 marks and 75 marks and passing marks are 12 and 30.But the cse branch is considered as top branch in the msit and is preferred over the other branches is what I have been told by the seniors. The faculty is quite qualified and know how to teach labs are also well maintained .
