The curriculum for CSE-AI branch in IGDTUW is totally artificial intelligence oriented. This curriculum fully focuses on the future trends and current trends in this industry. In first semester I studied the subjects like Maths, Physics, Intelligent Systems, Communication Skills, Python and Computer organization and architecture. The curriculum does prepare us for real world applications or further academic pursuits. Though improvement can be made in making the curriculum more tech and application oriented rather than theory. The frequency and timing of exams is nice but the first year was shrunken due to covid otherwise the frequency is fine and the level of exams is medium to difficult.

The course is great and the faculty is great too. But most of the times the classes are not held at right time and there are lesser classrooms too. But the teaching and teachers are great. This is the major concern.

the curriculum is veryu decent the subjects thought are very interesting and relatable to the branch. the faculty are majorly great but most of the times the course content is thought by the Phd scholars.

My course includes subjects based on IT,CSE and AI fields. I am currently in my 4th semester and uptil now I have my subjects as data science, programming with python, Object oriented programming with Java, artificial intelligence, computer organisation and architecture, computer networks, data structures, discrete mathematics, and design and analysis. There are more but that was what I could recall of. The faculty is very supportive and coordinative. We have 2sems in one year and one mids and end sems per semester.

The course curriculum here is less burdening. Every first year student has to study same courses irrespective of the branch. I chose mechanical and automation engineering due to my interest in machines. Faculty student ratio is different for different branches. On an average it is 1 is to 70 for lecture and 2 is to 35 for labs. Most of the faculty here are PHD holders. Teaching methods include both treditional which involves teaching using black-board and modern teaching methods which include using presentations. A semester is roughly of 5 months including mid term and end term exams. Passing the exams depends upon the students preparation. But if the student follows the lectures delivered by the teachers properly and follow the notes and other study material given, then the exams are not dificult to pass.

Cse-ai is the top branch in igdtuw the subjects and the curriculum in this branch were quite different and better from other colleges. We were taught the subjects in our first and 2nd semester only when those subjects are taught in 2nd or 3rd year in different colleges. Faculty to student ratio is decent or similar to other colleges I.e 1 for 60 to 70 students. Teachers are qualified enough to teach but as we all know there are times when the teaching methods doesn't suit everyone. Term exams are taken on time we complete 2 semesters per year, the papers that are made by professors of our college are decent, the difficulty level is easy to moderate.

This course is in demand as it teaches you computer science along with artificial intelligence. 1 professor takes a class of 70 students which is a pretty good ratio. The professors have a phd degree and some are doing research in their respective fields. Mid sems and End sems are conducted in a semester. The level of paper is average.

I chose CSE-AI as it was the topmost course the university had to offer plus AI is a booming technology and I was attracted to learn it. Each class has about 75-80 students and there are 2 mentor faculties in each class, so the faculty-student ratio would be 1:40. The faculties are qualified and helpful, be it in their respective courses or just general problems you face. Most faculties are good but there could be one who is annoyed with all of the students and angry all time but you'll learn to cope lol. Teaching methods are still old school but most faculties are changing it by using more technology rather than just mugging up the notes dictated or written on the board. Term exams could be stressful days, sometimes End sem could be just after a month of mid sem getting over. Passing is not that difficult if you start studying 1 week prior to the mid sem and 2 weeks prior to the end sems.
Since I have an inclination towards artificial intelligence since my Btech. I have pursued my MTech in Artificial Intelligence. Faculty are ususally doctorate degree and have a PHD experties in the area. Term exams were on the difficult side.
