Course Curriculum Overview :

The curriculum of computer science and engineering is very well defined with respect to future perspective. One can pursue higher studies with ease or can move to industrial level. There are both theory and lab courses which prepares us for real world. There is also freedom to study courses from other departments and include them in degree credits. Exams are held mostly 4 per course per semester i.e. 2 quizzes, 1 mid semester and 1 end semester.

Class Size : 180Course Fees : INR 1200000 per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Tution fee does not increase much regularly, mostly less than 5% increase only. Tuition fee is 1 lakh per semester. Inluding hostel and mess and other fee it becomes about 1.4 lakhs per semester for 8 semesters. Many state and central government or other scholarships can be availed by eligible students.

Campus Life :

Many fests occur throughout the year like Mood Indigo, Techfest, E-summit etc. Mood Indigo is the largest college fest in asia. Library is quite extensive and has many resources. Classrooms are equipped with digital screens, ACs, high speed Wi-Fi. Sports facilities are very nice and has many resources. There are many clubs which can enhance our skills.

Admission :

Admission to IIT Bombay is through JEE Advanced examination. More details about this exam could be found on its website jeeadv.nic.in . This exam is conducted once a year, mostly in may. This exam is one of the most difficult exam in the world. The admission process is conducted in councelling sessions by JOSAA.

Faculty :

The faculty to student ratio is not so good, not so bad. Professors are available in office hours to clear any queries. In classes also, students are encouraged to ask doubts. The faculty members are very highly qualified from top universities across the world. Interaction with teachers could be done regularly both online and offline.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placement From 7 th semester. Many good companies and mass recruiters visit the campus for placement drive. Some of the companies visiting are JP Morgan, cisco, media.net, tcs, accentuate, delloite, Infosys, jio, hcl and many more. The highest package was around 43 lakhs per annum offered by Amazon, google offered a package of 26 lakhs per annum, idfc offered 15LPA and many more dream packages.
