Rajarshi Shahu College of Engineering came into existence in the year 2001 with an intake of just 150 students in three courses which has now raised to 700 in five UG and seven PG courses showing continuous dedication of the management towards education. The admission process was smoothly operated, and it was on the basis of MHTCET and JEE exam. There were no areas which I think would be required for the improvement of admission process. Also there are various sections divided which are easy to understand at the time of admission process.

Addmission is taken through MHT-CET, Cut off for CSE near about 92 percentile for general. IT department is good as compared to CS and has less cut-off than CS and AIDS. College has 6 departments, CS, IT, AIDS, ENTC, Electrical, and Mechanical.

- Campus is in city not on any mountainous side where nobody is there. it near residential area so easily access to all needy things
- College campus is beautiful has 3 canteens 2 boys hostel and 2 girls hostel with each department has separate bulildings

- Campus is small lacks large playgrounds (has 2 short ground) to play and has campus joined with BSCOER so two college has same campus
- Attendance is mandatory and college hostel are not so good for boys.(lacks lot of facility)

to take addmission in this college you need to give MHT CET OR JEE exam and have to participate in MHT CET counselling you will get a seat according to cut off and your score. this is complete offical process of getting adddmission you will have to pay college nominal fees and you will get schloraship acccording to your category. all reservations are under maharashtra govt. caterory. after you get selected in CAP round then you have to come to college and take addmission the processs is simple and done. if you don't score well you can get addmision through management qouta you will get a seat iin your desired branch.

I get admission by MHT-CET with OPEN category last year. The admission form open at the website of CET's Cap round. There is not much fees for the application fees. There is a catch like if you are in category you should pay less fees than the open category. And also there is chance of to get admission in this college if you didn't get the chance to take admission by cap, you can still get admission by spot round which is directly after the cap rounds. & the admission process is smooth.

The institute offers its students a number of government and private scholarship schemes. The scholarships are provided to deserving and eligible candidates in order to financially assist them in case they are unable to pay the full tuition fee. 30% of seats available for Maharashtra State CAP are reserved for female candidates, as per the provisions in GR No. GEC-1000/ (123/2000)/ Tech. Edu.-1, dated 17th April 2000. Economically Weaker Sections: 5% of seats are reserved under the Tuition Fee Waiver Scheme (TFWS) for each.
Admission to RSCOE Pune is done based on JEE Main/MHT CET exam followed by counselling to get selected.
