Dislikes
- Faculty can be improved and student teacher relations should be improved.
- Campus in/out time should be changed and permission to roam in campus 24/7.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course includes all the topics which is also part of the syllabus of the GATE exam, which is good. The curriculum needs to be more practical rather than theoretical. The focus should be more on projects. Each semester consists of 1 mid-semester exam, internal assessment, teamwork, viva, practical and end-sem exam.
Internships Opportunities :
There are internships under teachers at the college level. On the other hand, one has to find an internship by oneself. It needs to be improved. Many projects are done in internships offered under college faculty and learned many things.
Placement Experience :
After sem 6 students become eligible for campus placement. Companies like JP Morgan Chase and Co. With 19.75 lpa and many more. The highest packet is around 50lpa and the average is around 1000000 lpa. Almost 95 to 98 percent campus placement which is good.
Fees and Financial Aid :
On an average my fees for per year is around 475000. For four years combined it is 1915000. There is financial scholarship for poor students and for Jammu quota students. Fees is worth but can be less by 75000 per year.
Campus Life :
Technical fest Abhiyantriki around November. Cultural fest Symphony around March last week Both are good with many more other fest. Almost All books are available in library. Projector and AC in every class Very good campus for Every sports. Includes football ground, track , basketball ground, volleyball ground, cricket, sports complex with badminton , tennis, table tennis and swimming and etc. Many clubs are there in college. Includes coding clubs like CSI and CodeCell, Orion , Student Council and many more.
Hostel Facilities :
Polytechnic hostel details (where I stay) : 4 person per room with bed , shelf , bed , cupboard and chair for each. Cleaning and hygiene is too good. Common bathroom and washroom Water filter at each floor with cold and normal water taps. Mess food can be improved. Fees 130000 per year
Admission :
I got admission through MHT CET with around 95 percentile. Can get admission through JEE Mains also JEE mains can be given twice a year with moderate to difficult levels. MHT CET is easier than JEE mains, getting one chance a year
Faculty :
Faculty-to-student ratio needs to be improved a little bit also the teaching style should be improved. Every faculty is available whenever you need. The same faculty teaches more than 1 subject in different fields which needs to be improved. Education qualification for the good of the faculty.
