College way to enter in professional world.

Goa university department of management and studies is very good college for the student who was polish there knowledge through help of faculties who are expertise in there own field. It definitely help to grain more knowledge and improvements of skill but only major thing issue is of placement. There has been not proper placement over the years which should be given priority and introduction of new companies for placement should be brought. Also campus should be focused more and should be improve to some extent.

I had answered CMAT exam i had scored 76 marks with 58% i opted for MBA as i wanted to make career in business administration. Also love there life as punctuality and professionalism which i feel i have posses those quality in me.

I choose finance as my elective in MBA. Finance is consider heart of MBA. Basically oldest concept and have lot of scope too. Along with that i am from commerce background so i choose to do MBA in Finance.

Yes i did my internship in MRF Ltd there was no stipend i did my internship in finance dept under Sr. Account Manager who help me a lot and introduce various accounting policies of MRF follows. Even they thought how SAP works.

Frankly speaking only thing is major issue of Goa University is placement. There is not much placement facilities but it has been improving year and year now companies like of Glenmark with 3 lakhs yearly package and HDFC bank 3.2 lakhs package they provide mostly for marketing department.

Management event like seminars and workshop are conducted regular basis with external facilities specialized in their field other cultural event like Platonic and sport event like play also held once in year.

Fees structure 103420 rs per year's feasible compare to other college like of GIM where is 9.5 lakhs per year.

Loan is taken from bank with an interest rate of 12.15% p.a.

Gender ratio is basically 55:45 where 55 are male and 45 are female. There are workshop and seminars happens regularly through external faculty who are expert in there own fields. Basically all religions people are there but there no religion issue. There are regular event in the college like of platonica and also sport event like play on.

Hostel room are good but mess is horrible specially food they serve really not good.

Senior are very helpful always ready to interact with junior and help in various of aspect. There is lot of good reputation between junior and seniors.

We have trimester pattern in which every semester one final exam conducted along with presentation and class participation also given weight-age.

Faculty are very helpful and always willing to share there knowledge regarding various thing. Always ready to share views and clear doubt whenever required.
