Remarks :
I got in through JEE Advanced exam. I initially got into the electrical branch. After the first year, my branch got upgraded to Data Science Engineering. This is the best IIT for branch change as it's most relaxed over here at 25%.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum is decently hard but the professors are helpful and take doubts at any time. The faculty-student ratio is extremely good over here. I don't the exact stats but if I had to guess it must be around 30 students to 1.
Internships Opportunities :
There are a lot of internship opportunities from the college side as well as from other places inside the college as well. You can work with seniors or even start your startups here and will get all the help you need.
Placement Experience :
The placements stats here are rising rapidly. Last year's average was 20 Lakh, which increased from 16 Lakh last to last year. This year placements are still going on and from the looks of it, it might increase even more.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee hike in IITs is decided by a central body so, so it's not much over here. Talking about scholarships, you can get quite high scholarships through various programs for girls quota and low-income quota.
Campus Life :
Since this is a new IIT most clubs are still new and need a lot of work. But each year there is a lot of growth as a whole. Also, the fests are grand. The library has a lot of books and the amenities in classrooms in classrooms, as well as hostels, are very good
Hostel Facilities :
the hostel facilities as very good as it's still a new IIT and also because new hostels are still in construction. but there is no option for PG or something. You have to live in college hostels only. These charges are decent enough at Rs. 100 a day.
