Remarks :

First, need to qualify to jee mains and then jee advanced. Cut of jee mains was approx 78 percentile while cutoff of jee advanced was approx 80. The application forms can be found on a website. Application fees would be approx 500-800 which vary from category to category. After clearing both the exams you have to fill your choices of college and courses on his portal and seats are allocated on a merit basis. Approx 6 rounds take place for it and another college admission and at last one special round occurs for other colleges except for it. At last seat allotment letter will be given to all the students who secured a seat in any of their respective colleges and then document verification take place both in online and offline mode. Welcome to your college. The test conducting process could be more planned. Because in the corona region it appeared that nta did not have a strong policy-making they are just moved by corona waves.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I choose this course because of my rank, future scope, and interest in the technical field. Faculty students ratio varies from course to course but on average, it is approx 1 to 45. All the teachers are highly qualified professors teaching Ph.D. students too. We have to appear in one or another exam in approx 20 days duration. Some of them are easy to score but some are very difficult to score

Internships Opportunities :

Approx all big companies like Microsoft, Google, PayPal, Amazon, Flipkart, Samsung, etc. Hire interns from our college for different roles like the head of its department, chief engineer, etc. Mostly website maintenance and development projects are offered at starting and then other highly reputed projects are also being offered.

Placement Experience :

For the 7th, and 8th semesters they are eligible for campus placement Approx all big multinational companies like Microsoft, Google, sprinkler, Amazon, Flipkart, Oracle, jaguar, etc visit our campus. Approx 1000 job offers are being offered every year. Around 90% of students get placed every year. I will try to get a placement in a good IT company.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Fees vary from category to category. For the general category with family income above 6 lakhs course fees per semester are approx 119000. For students with a family income of 5-6 lakhs per annum, there is a discount of 30% and for those whose family income is less than 1 lakh per annum they don't need to pay anything for tuition fees

Campus Life :

This is the best part of it mandi. Fests and events are organized regularly. There are a lot of clubs and sports which are there in IIT mandi and people just love it. Fests like expect, Ragaz, ranneti, hostel GC, etc. are there which take place every year. The classroom has everything which should be there in a classroom. Nice beaches, smartboard, good space area proper location. Sports club, cultural club, programming club,etc

Hostel Facilities :

The room is provided with a bed, study tables, and a lamp Hostel meal quality is not up to mark but better than other colleges. At starting the hostel will be allocated randomly and after 1st year you will be allowed your room by the hostel allotment process Mandi town, Sundar Nagar would be a suitable place for PG because there is no scope for PG around the campus.

Placement Experience:

after 6th semester students are eligible for campus placements Compamies like TechMahindra, wipro,Hcl and many more visited here.The avergae package given by companies are 6-7 lakhs. highest package of our campus is of 60lakhs something. In chitkara rajpura campus highest package is 1.2 cr More than 90% of students get placed. but the condtion is that students do not have any suply and the student have maintained the attendance minimum75% in every subject My plans are too get placed in Company with good package

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is quite good . It is very relevant like we have course on thermodynamics, rigid body mechanics which is useful in mechanical engineering and there are also robotics course for all branches so that every one can know the basics of robotics . There are coding courses for everyone so that everyone can know tech field Also there are extra curricular courses which are very relevant to our daily life like Language speaking courses like french , German , english . Also our college has started have semester exchange facility available to foreign colleges.

The students can start getting placement offers from the 6th semester itself in the form of PPOs(Pre Placement Offers), A lot of high value companies give placements and the placement drive starts early in the 7th semester itself. The percentage of students placed generally is upwards of the 75% mark. The students can get placed in any sort of company as per their pedigree. Some PSUs also offer few positions directly. The institute also has MOUs with some other Institutes that offer Masters and Post Graduation programmes directly.

Placement Experience:

Placement scenerio is same as the other nit colleges like highest package goes about 1cr and lowest will be 6lpa and median is. About 9lpa and overall an average placement of 13lpa . Percentage of students getting placed is 85 percent but Barch and engineering physics has lower placement in this college. Many of the student went for higher studies .my plan is to get placed after the completion of degree.
