- Campus Life is good it is full of greenery and various mountains views are appear from college .
- Faculty is supportable if any one has wish to study or know anything related to their branches and other branches they can easily contact to that teacher
Dislikes
- Teachers and staffs are bit of biased to the Himachal Pradesh
- Data given on the website for the placement is overrated as they don't show the exact placement data they only show placed student
Course Curriculum Overview :
Curriculum is good as old Curriculum changes from this year according to New education policy . In the first everyone has to study about the basics of every branch of engineering and then after that each will study their own branch syllabus. Relevance of the curriculum is good.
Placement Experience :
Placement scenerio is same as the other nit colleges like highest package goes about 1cr and lowest will be 6lpa and median is. About 9lpa and overall an average placement of 13lpa . Percentage of students getting placed is 85 percent but Barch and engineering physics has lower placement in this college. Many of the student went for higher studies .my plan is to get placed after the completion of degree.

Campus Life :
Campus of the NiT hamirpur is fabulous it has best infrastructure as every classroom has smart board green board and white board with comfortable benches and a wide space of classrooms not tomany students in one class so that teachers can look every student . Various technical festivals are held like Hillfair is cultural club , Nimbus is a technical club,an freshers party called aagman and like these so many fests are held Lalkar a sports fest also hold. Various clubs and society are also appear like ISTE, revanta motosports society, robotics society, rythmeez a dance club, sports club includes cricket badminton football . Ncc Nss are also available in this college
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel facility is good like you have 3 seater and 4 seater rooms you can choose according to yourself at the time of admission. In every rooms you given a bed a chair a table for every students and a seperate almirah for every students. Every floor has water cooler and good environment . Out timing for freshers is 7pm but after 2,3 months out timing extended to 9pm . Good quality food is given every day you had given new variety of food which include rice,pulses sweets and non vegs . Hostel registration process is easy you have to pay hostel fee 40000 in SBI collect and send receipt to warden mail that's it your registration process completed .
Admission :
There is a jee mains exam in which I got 96.6 percentile and category rank of 11000 cutoff of the mechanical engineering branch is 13000 rank so clearing jee mains entrance examination I get tis Mechanical Branch seat in NIT Hamirpur according to higher preference in my preference list during my counselling.
