Remarks :
It’s one of the most prestigious public institutes in India. While choosing this university, I didn't give it any second thought; its infrastructure was impressive and I quite liked it. If you see it is quite evident from its national ranking also. I applied through the online application. They shortlisted me based on my UGC net score, the score of the interview, and the written exam.
Course Curriculum Overview :
After completing the MSc. Degree in Geography I choose to continue my study to get a deeper knowledge of technologies. This course seemed a perfect choice for my need. It’s a two years full-time course and this course is divided into four semesters. the course is included the core course along with the electives. The course covers the deeper discussions on remote sensing, photogrammetry, GIS, data analysis of geospatial data lab, etc. We were engaged in several activities by our excellent faculty members. The activities included several projects, lab work, and attending seminars, and workshops.
Placement Experience :
I wanted to continue my research work and that is why I did not take part in the final placement process. The highest salary package offered was Rs.11 LPA and the average salary of Rs.6 LPA. Acsia technologies, Aadyah aerospace, Antrix corporation, COMSOL-India, HCL, Infosys, Intel, and zentron were some of the top organizations recruited in our final placement program.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The cost of education is so much reasonable, so here ROI is much higher. Here I spent Rs. 40450 as the semester fee. I also paid Rs. 10000 as part of a one-time fee. For the hostel fee, I paid Rs.26750 per semester. For scholarships, I don’t have that much information as I didn't apply for any scholarship scheme.
Campus Life :
Participating in several workshops and seminars were some usual activities in my campus life. Library and academic buildings provided a valuable addition to our campus. The annual sports meet was a special program on our campus.
