Everything is good but our college is too strict and is not at all students favoured we students are not having that much rights to express our opinion in case of extra curricular activities and all

Course Curriculum Overview :

Yes this campus is mainly space oriented. They always tries to bring a touch with space science in all the courses provided by them.Mainly there are btech mtech PhD programs. In many topics. Just provides three branches in btech ie btech Aerospace engineering btech electronics and communication engineering and finally dual degree in engineering physics.

Placement Experience :

Most of the btech students are directly adsorbed to isro.actually this college is under the department of space {DoS} under central government. All those students who secures a decent chila of 7.5 will be adsorbed by isro.

College Events :

Mainly there are two main events cultural fest dhanak and technical fest consciential. Dhanam occurs in every odd semester and conscientia happens at all even semester in additional to the we celebrate kerala cultural fest like onam. The lohi holi etc

Fee Structure And Facilities :

For those who secure a cumulative grade point above 7.5 donor need to remit the any fees.If you are getting above 7.5 there will bea book grant of rupees three thousand. For others they have to pay 48,000 per semester as the fees. Which is anyway fair.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

No I have not applied for any scholarship as the institute itself is providing a dos financial assistantship

Campus Life :

Gender ratio is too low our batch is having only 9 girls rest 140+ boys. Which is too unfair then talking about extracurricular activities we are having good basketball court badminton court and also each hostel is having a table tennis room and a common room for watching tv

Hostel Facilities :

Yes it is completely that we need to stay inside campus itself so they will provide hostel for each students for all btech btech PhD students. In btech every year is having seperate hostel PhD students will have separate one same with mtech as that of btech

External Expense : Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna :

Yes off course they are very helpful many of our institute alumini are working in various isro centers across the nation

Admission :

Admission procedure is done through online mode in there official website iist.ac.in after the declaration of jee advanced rank list they will call through webpage as well as through newspaper advertisement. They will make one rank list based on our marks in the iit jee advanced exam.There will be almost 7 rounds of seat allocation.

Faculty :

Actually the teacher student ratio is very higher approximately there are 100+ faculties available for around just 700 students in the campus. All those faculties are having a minimum qualification of PhD. All them are extremely awesome. Great people

Placement Experience:

there are placements in every years but not every one gets it. because every one has less skills rather than coomparing their marks.becuase of their lacking of skills they have ended up being placed undeer companies which offer less salary.but some got good options also.and my collge is in a rural ares so not so many companies gets here

Pros and cons of NIT CALICUT

Placement Experience:

Qualcomm, ibs,Infosys etc visits. Highest package was 55 lakhs. Average package is 20 lakhs. Nearly 100 % placement in computer science engineering. After degree joining get a job through campus placement.
