Remarks :
IIT Palakkad is a newly established of IIT system, and it is supervised by IIT Madras. So, without hesitation, I applied to IIT Palakkad. To be accepted into IIT Palakkad, applicants must pass the GATE exam with a score of 400 to 600. A bachelor's degree with a minimum grade point average of 55 percent is required.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The college's curriculum is up to date with industry standards and is somewhat comparable to that of IIT Madras. The curriculum is aimed to give students all of the basic and essential understanding about mathematics and computer technology, as well as their global effect. There are four semesters in the curriculum. The student-to-faculty ratio is 1:8, which allows us to connect with teachers and clear up any questions we may have.
Placement Experience :
IIT Palakkad performs admirably under the direction of IIT Madras, and the college's placement record is as impressive. The college achieves a placement rate of 100 percent. The placement committee at the college is so dedicated that they are able to not only attract good firms but also assist us during the placement stages. Our batch's maximum package was 35 LPA, while the average package was roughly 15 LPA. During the placement drive, companies such as Google, Arista Network, TCS Research, McKinsey, Honeywell, Texas Instruments, and Microsoft visited the campus.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The annual college tuition is approximately Rs 35000/-. The college also offers merit scholarships as well as scholarships for SC/ST/PD students. By visiting the college's official website, you can learn more about the college scholarship programmes.
Campus Life :
IIT Palakkad's campus life is enjoyable and cooperative. Why did I use the word cooperative? Because all of our seniors, as well as the college's administrative staff and faculty, are very cooperative and work together to further the college's development. The college hosts Petrichor, an annual tech festival that is one of the most anticipated events of the year. There are other student-run clubs at the college, such as a research and culture club, a robotics club, a data analysis club, a drama club, a dance club, and so on.
