For admission to B.Tech. programs, candidates should have a valid JEE Main score and then appear for counselling conducted by DTE Madhya Pradesh. Then they need to select the college and courses and also have to lock their choices in preferential order.

A Thing really missing is, doesn't have a "Good Canteen" doesn't have a. Lot of options to let you decide, have a common mess for Hostelles and Students so a bit congested sometimes ~ Parv, B.Tech

All about the third tier engineering college

I really liked the effort that director put for the betterment of the Student he is always ready to give them the education they want he understands the demand of today and work accordingly to it
The best thing about this college is that they have special interest group means SIG in various technologies every semester student learns so much from these SIG as they help them to learn new technology and skills
Apart from the curriculum certain internal hackathons are held for the college students to show case their skills and their will to do something

Dislikes

The classs can be good there is no cooling facility in the classes apart from fans the AC are only in the labs
The playing ground really need the improvement as the college doesn't pay much attention to the sport so if you are sport enthusiast sorry to say but this is not for you
The canteen food is not that much good as compared to the fees they are charging for the hostel

Placement opportunities in the campus and highest package

The placement of the college is good as compared to the other colleges who have the fees much higher than this there is placement cell in the college which is responsible for the placement of the placement of the student they help and listen to each and every student through the placement process the average package is 5 lakhs and the highest package of the year is 24 lakhs the average cretiera for the students is based on the company coming to the college and their demand but generally they ask for the students who have more than 7 cgpa till current semester Evey year atleast 25-30 companies come for the btech CSE students

Internship opportunities in the campus and stipend

College have the internship drive for the students same as placement drive they call companies to the college for hiring the students as intern in various domains the maximum stipend is of 35 thousand

Academic structure and curriculum in the campus

The curriculum is from RGPV University which is not as good as the current requirement but the college have other sigs and work shop which helps the students to learn and develop the skills they need to survive in the current corporate world the area where the college can improve is the transperancy because sometimes there are so much going on of which students doesn't know about .the exam pattern is obviously based on the RGPV timing but the college have other exams like aptitude test and coding test for the students

Yearly fees structure of the course and scholarship

The tution does increase every year the current students are paying from 80 thousand to 1 lakh per year however they have the scholarship policy according the 12th percentage and jee exam percentile this scholarship is the relaxation in the fees that college provides to the student according to their percentage apart form this the govt scholarship policy also applied to the college scholarship policy the complete fees of the course in which I am studying is 2 lakh 40000 thousand and other charges of all around about 20000 a year however college have certain competition in which you can compete and earn

Various clubs, events and sports in the campus

There are various tech and non tech clubs in the college which organise various events for the students time to time and college also have the annual fest every year and every year there is the sport fest and also college celebrate the other festival and also organise various events such as they call some famous celebrities and the professor to have some talk with the students in the previous event the water man of India came to the college

Faculty and learning experience in the campus

Overall faculty is very much qualified for a tshirt tier college in the engineering field they have the grasp on their subjects and the they always are ready for the help if the students really want to do something the ratio of the faculty to the student is 1 teacher on every 20 student and I have to talk about the teaching methods of the faculty they are always takes funny and understandable approach and they are always very friendly with the students

I got the admission through the dte counseling which helps every year and I got the admission based on my 12th percentage apart from the this I personally visited the college and their is a counselor who gives the knowledge about the college their admission process and all the other thing

the computers in college are high tech also the faculty is good
Computer system availability is very good here

Dislikes

ratio of girls to that of boys is very low
the transport facility is not that up to the mark

Admission:

college campus area is good and clean placement offered by college is better than other colleges also the SIG condusted by college every semester in which students are taught about different technologies

Beyond the Brochures : My Honest College Review.

The infrastructure of this college is best I really loved it it has separate building for separate departments and very cleaned, overall the campus is so good every students who wants to do engineering have must visit this college.
The sports department and the grounds are the so so good of this college , they have separate ground for cricket and football as well , and also basketball court so many things.

Dislikes

The bus facility is not so good they charged good money but not give the facility as per the fees , my bus fees was 12 thousands year , front seats are already reserved for faculties and students have adjusted.
The location of this college is so far from the main city , many of us struggling daily to come to the college, I traveled 20 km one side daily.
The toilet should be more better, the one thing I really don't like very dirty and water cooler also not work properly.

Admission:

When I am about to take decision that I want to do engineering , then i start searching for college I visited many collegs first I visit Oriental, then I visit Medicaps , then I visti IPS , then I visit Acropolis, but then I visit IIST . to compare these college I found that IIST is the best college for me beacues of every thing , if you talk about compus , area , faculties , sports ground , and most importantly fees , the collage is affordable for those students who don't have so much many for the studies , when I visit Acropolis then i realized that they have very big amount of fees and there play grounds are very same and the infrastructure is look like hospital. The admission process is very simple , if you give JEE exam then your admission will be on JEE marks basis , the seats are firstly reserved for those students who give the JEE exam , then they take the students on the basis of board exam.

the campus of our college is really attractive with lots of greenery and cleanliness.
the library of our college which has more than 8000+ books available .
the lab facilities are top class which includes the best computers with latest technology and i7 processors.

Dislikes

there are many rules and regulations which every student have to strictly follow .

reason why i did'nt choosed any other college other than this is beacuse our college runs special classes for the student and these classes are named as SIGs i.e. Skill improvement gorups in which the corperate trainer from various companies having a good experience comes to our college and teach the skills to the students based on their curriculum.

Yes, IIST Indore provides better placement oppurtunities to the students. The average package is INR 6.94 lacs per year. The highest package offered is INR 46 lacs per year. The top recruiters are Just Dial, Jaro Education, TCS, Amazon etc.
