Remarks :

I was very confused as to which institute I should prefer for my graduation. After sitting for the counseling session, my vision got a bit clearer. IIT Mandi offers a great course in the field of engineering. Admission requirements state that a candidate should clear JEE Advance exam and appear for the interview round. Previous qualification documents and the admission fee are to be submitted online on the official website of the institute.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Four year-long course curriculum can be a bit boring if not structured properly. However, the course set by the professors here was very good. In those four years, we worked on projects, assignments, and dissertations. The professors were very kind and polite. They helped us throughout the course. Guest lectures and seminars were organized for the students on the current technology being used by the industry experts and leaders.

Course Fees : INR 219000 per year

Placement Experience :

The placement procedure is a three-step process starting with the registration. Many companies visited the campus last year for placements. Some of them included: Google, Microsoft, Samsung Bangalore, Adobe, Walmart, Paytm, Amazon, Indeed, Cashfree, Flipkart, Mindtickle, and Texas Instruments. 81% of the students got placed in my batch. More than 100 offers were made to the students.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Rs.8.43 lakhs is a normal fee structure of an engineering course as compared to other colleges and institutes. There are only four scholarships provided by the institute - Central Sector Scholarship for SC Students, HTRA scholarship for M.S., M.Tech., and Ph.D. Students/Scholars, Merit Cum Mean Scholarship for General & OBC Category Students, and Institute Scholarship for SC/ST Students.

Campus Life :

The campus of IIT Mandi is surrounded by mountains and greenery. I still cherish those four years of my life. The technical and Cultural council of the institute use to organize some of the finest events I have ever seen to date. I also attended concerts at night. During festival days, numerous competitions were held on the campus and I backed positions in many of them. My social circle developed and I am still connected to them via social platforms.

NIT Hamirpur Review

Placement Experience:

The college provides a quite decent placement. This year highest package was 2 Cr and previous year highest package was 1.73 Cr . More than 40 companies visited.Top recruiters were Samsung ,CRED, Syska,Croma,Oracle , Accenture etc. More than 80 percent students get placed and after my degree I am also thinking of getting placed .

The placement drive begins from the beginning of 7th semester for the four year bachelor's programs. The average package offered in my stream .i.e. Mechanical engineering is about 8-9 lakhs per year. The placements depend upon the students knowledge and grades. And the placement percentage of college is above 75%.

Placement Experience:

Like from the the 7th semester we are eligible to sit in placement process. Companies like vegazva, khanna paper mill, shree cement etc. companies visited in campus. And the highest package as like i mentioned the company visited in campus giving us 4lpa for 2-3 years then it is increased as per the candidate performance.

A realistic experience at NIT Hamirpur

Placement Experience:

A clear picture is not shown to the website of my college as well as student studying at it. However after consulting through our seniors, we get to know that various big companies visits our college. The highest package is about 60 lakhs but average is around 10 lakhs

Placement Experience:

Campus placement is now going to boost In JNGEC from the last 4 years. Students are eligible from the last year of their graduation for the placement. Some of the students were already placed during their Vocational training time. Tech, textile, mechanical, civil constructions Ltd, and electronics company visit make students secure about their future with respect to placements. 6LPA is the average package offered by a company here.
