Remarks :

The brand name Indian institute of technology attracted me to this college. I am doing post graduation here in development studies. This was actually my backup course but here I am with admission nowhere else and comprising by doing MA in development studies instead of MA in economics. No, I did not secure an education loan.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course syllabus basically involved stuff related to the western himalayas which I found very restrictive. I have started online classes as of now. There are many assignments, presentations,book review, response paper,research paper. In short,they have made sure we cuss them alot because seriously there has been a lot of burden.

Course Fees : INR 18500 per year

Placement Experience :

Just a few of our alumni got placed because they didn't put any efforts. We have to join the placement cell next year. There is e-cell but as of now there are just online activities which we don't get time to do among so many assignments, ppts, family stuff and what not.

College Events :

I have heard that there are societies for all the cultural stuff. And there are music and dance societies too but again we haven't experienced any of that. So, can't really say until go to the campus

Campus Life :

I haven't really been to the campus because there was corona and my college is not open. It might open in january or march. My first semester exams will be from 23 November - 3 December. It is difficult attending online classes when you know you could have been there enjoying the mountains.

Hostel Facilities :

I have opted for hostel but not been to the hostel yet. Because when I joined college, it was September and no college was open then for offline teaching. As colleges are opening, I'm hoping to go the college and live my hostel life.

Nice review

Placement Experience:

Like from the the 7th semester we are eligible to sit in placement process. Companies like vegazva, khanna paper mill, shree cement etc. companies visited in campus. And the highest package as like i mentioned the company visited in campus giving us 4lpa for 2-3 years then it is increased as per the candidate performance.
