WBJEE 2024 B. Pharm counselling registration has been started on September 19, 2024. Candidates can register for the counselling till September 23, 224. This counselling is important for students aspiring to pursue undergraduate courses in engineering, technology, and pharmacy in the state of West Bengal.

Detailed Process of WBJEE Counselling for Pharmacy

Online Registration

Registration is the first step in the counselling process and by following below mentioned steps you need to register first.

  • Visit the official WBJEEB website i.e. https://wbjeeb.nic.in/.
  • Create your account by providing the required details such as your name, date of birth, and WBJEE roll number.
  • Complete the registration form and submit it.

Payment of Counselling Fee

After registration, you have to pay the counselling fee. This fee can be paid online through various payment modes. You are required to pay an amount of INR 500 as the counselling fee. Those who make the payment will be allowed to participate in further counselling rounds.

Choice Filling and Locking

You should be very careful while selecting the choices. You are advised to select the maximum possible number of institutes/ branches. This ensures that you always get an allotment. You can always opt for upgradation after accepting the current allotment. You are advised to choose at least 20 options.

For choice filling you need to follow the following steps.

  • Log into your accounts using the ID and Password generated in the previous step.
  • Fill in your preferences for colleges and courses.
  • The option to edit and submit the final choice will expire on the due date and the choices filled so far will be locked automatically. If you fail to lock your choices within the pre-announced deadline, you will not be given any allotment in the current cycle but will be considered in the next cycle and will have the opportunity to submit choices in the next cycle(s).

Points to Remember during Choice Filling

  • Before filling in the choices, make sure to check Cutoff to know your chances of entering the participating institutes.
  • Once choices are locked, candidates will not be allowed to make any changes thereafter.
  • Candidates must take a printout of the selected choices after confirming them for future reference.

Seat Allotment Process

After the conclusion of choice filling and locking, you will be allotted seats based on your ranks and preference. This process will also be carried out online and you will be required to check the seats allocated to you by logging into your account.

You can exercise the following options:

  1. Accept and freeze the seat.
  2. Accept the option for a possible up-gradation to their higher choices.
  3. Do nothing.

In case of Accept and freezing the seat you need to pay the seat acceptance fee (₹5000 for allotment in Govt. Institutes, ₹5000 for allotment in the TFW category and ₹40000 for allotment in Pvt. Institutes) and download the allotment letter, which is provisional and is subject to successful physical verification by the concerned institute.

Reporting to Allotted Colleges

After receiving your seat allotment letter you have to report to the allotted college with the required documents and admission fees. You have to complete the admission process withing time otherwise your seat will be cancelled.

Documents Required for WBJEE Counselling

Candidates should prepare the following documents for the counselling process:

  • WBJEE Admit Card
  • WBJEE Rank Card
  • Recent Passport-Sized Photographs
  • Class 10 and 12 Mark Sheets
  • Caste Certificate (if applicable)
  • Income Certificate (if applicable)
  • Transfer Certificate (TC)
  • Migration Certificate (if applicable)

Cut-offs fluctuate year by year depending on the difficulty level of the exam and the number of appearing students. Cut-offs are determined by the participating institutions hence it varies by institutions and courses.
