The State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra has released the Final merit list for MHT CET 2024 on its official website. Candidates who have registered themselves to get admission for four-year BE/BTech and five-year ME/MTech (Integrated) can now check it by visiting at – mahacet.org/. Candidates who cleared the MAH MBA CET 2024 exam are eligible to participate in the CAP rounds. The MAH MBA CET Counselling process includes application form filling, seat allotment, uploading of documents, cut-off, and admission confirmation. MAH MBA CET 2024 counselling

The official website will publish the final merit list online, indicating the availability of seats for the CAP rounds. All three MBA CAP rounds (I, II, and III) will be conducted online, with seats allocated through a computerized process. If we analyze last year’s admission data, you will require around 99.8+ percentile for top-tier MBA colleges including JBIMS, SIMSREE, S.I.E.S Mumbai, Prin. L N Welingkar Mumbai, and PUMBA Pune.

MAH MBA CET 2024 exam was primarily scheduled on two days, i.e., March 9 and 10, 2024. However, due to alot of registration, the conducting body has conducted the exam on another extra day, i.e., March 11, 2024, so that every registered candidates can apply for the exam.   

MAH CET 2024 question paper comprises 200 questions to be attempted in 150 minutes. There is no negative marking and the question paper is provided only in the English language. Logical reasoning accounts for the maximum weightage of 75 followed by Quant and VARC with 50 questions each.

MAH CET 2024 Result, Score Normalization and Marks vs Percentile

MAH CET 2024 result is published in the form of scorecard. You need to login and download your MAH MBA CET scorecard 2024 after the result announcement. MAH CET result mentions the shift and date of exam appeared in, overall score and the percentile score of the student. To ensure that all students are scored at an equal level, the scores out of 200 are normalized to adjust the disparities. The formula used to calculate the percentile score after normalization is:

100 x (No. of students in a session with raw score LESS THAN OR EQUAL TO the student’s score) / Total number of students in the session

MAH CET 2024 counselling is conducted by the Maharashtra State CET Cell as a common centralized admission process for all participating colleges. 3 MAH CET 2024 CAP (Centralized Admission Process) counselling rounds will be conducted.

MAH MBA CET counselling process will consist of online registration at cetcell.mahacet.org, merit list preparation, choice filling and locking, allotment of seats, and reporting and document verification at the allotted college.

You need to present your admit card and scorecard during the MAH MBA/MMS-CET counselling process. For students applying based on CAT/ CMAT/ MAT/ GMAT/ XAT/ ATMA scores, the respective exam scorecards have to be presented.

MAH CET 2024 Eligibility and Registration Process

To be eligible for MAH CET 2024, one needs to meet the minimum basic requirements set by the conducting authority. MAH MBA CET eligibility criteria includes these important points:

  • The applicant must be an Indian national
  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with minimum 50% (45% for reserved categories) in aggregate.
  • Those in the final year of graduation can also apply for the examination. Their admission will be subject to meeting the minimum eligibility at the time of admission.
  • Those who have appeared for other MBA exams like CAT, XAT, MAT, CMAT, GMAT, and ATMA can apply for admission under the All India category seats only.
  • Maharashtra State CET Cell to consider the graduation marks in percentage only. In case of CGPA, the same should be converted to percentage for evaluating the eligibility.

MAH MBA CET 2024 admit card is your entry ticket on the examination date. No student will be permitted to sit for the examination without their MAH CET admit card. MAH CET 2024 admit card is available for download only on cetcell.mahacet.org in candidate login.

MAH CET 2024 will be held in 2 shifts on each day. The morning shift will be from 9:00 am to 11:30 am and the evening shift will be from 2:00 pm to 4:30 pm. Students are advised to read all the instructions printed on the admit card carefully. We have also listed below the important dos and don’ts for MAH CET exam day:

  • Carry 2 printouts of the admit card along with your photo ID proof in original
  • Reach the exam center as per the reporting time on the admit card. For shift 1, the reporting time is 7:30 am and for shift 2, the reporting time is 12:30 pm.
  • You can carry a blue ballpoint pen and a transparent water bottle to the exam center
  • Do not bring items like mobile phones, calculators, smartwatches, or any other electronic gadgets to the test center.
  • Do not indulge in any malpractice including cheating as you will be under CCTV surveillance at all times.
  • Do not use the keyboard unless instructed to. Use only the rough sheets provided for all calculations.

No, you cannot refill the form. The last date for submitting the MAHCET form was 12th February. However, you can correct your exisiting application during Application form correction that will start from 2nd week of March, 2024.
