Scope to get better and waiting for a permanent campus

Greens area nearby the institute and approachable
Good behavior, helping and polite nature of our seniors

Dislikes

Less events and clubs to participate and clubs are no very much active
Some teachers, especially of computer science are not keen to make efforts

Fees and Financial Aid:

Not much aware of this but the fee is around 2 lakh per annum. But the facilities we get are not matching the fee, there should be more for better learning and understanding of students. And we all are waiting for our college's personal campus

All about IIIT Sonepat (things that no one will tell you)

I am fresher (2024) so I don't know much about this college till now. But as of now campus is good. Not so big
Canteen is there, and classrooms have airconditioner.

Dislikes

This college is located in remote area, so you need to be in hostel everytime, if you want to go to market you need cab or auto rickshaw will would be costly.
There is no permanent campus. This college runs in SBIT (Sri Balwant Institute of Technology) campus.

Fees and Financial Aid:

So the fee structure for this course is like very high it is around INR 1,20,000 for each semester so it'll be around INR 2,40,000 for 1 year. There are no scholarship options for any student. If you can't afford the fee you need to take education loan. There are no tution fee waiver options for other category students like SC, ST OR OBC.

The thing i liked about the college is its academic curriculum
friendly nature in the college is another thing i liked about the institute

Dislikes

its does not have its own campus yet ,its is running in transit campus
there is no such fest culture in the college due to its transit campus

Fees and Financial Aid:

tution fees is 90,000 per semester since 2021 there is no such increment in the tution fees after 2021 it is same till now ,you have to pay around 1,14,893 rupees for the first semester after that 98,261 for the even sem and 98.879 for the odd sem .there is no scholarship provided for any person by the school but you can apply on nsp portal to avail scholarship ,there is no campus employement .

The college was nice but no perment campus but it's ok to live there but the food for South Indian students is very bad so we have better opportunity to go to other colleges if any one have health issues better not to join here in this college
For your bright future and save your lives from iiit sonepat it is very thof for you

Food is very bad and no perment CPUs is there for iiit sonepat
Make sure you should pay more free here and it's not under pure government

The fee was 125000 lacks per semister so the nsp for below 2 lackh income will get scholarships like 3 lackh per year to pay there fee this may use to clear so buden no students and parents so this was the fee structure

Life at IIIT sonepat

Likes

The location of the college is in pretty decent area that is NCR which gives enough exposure towards companies.
Seniors are very helpful in both academics and social aspects .

Dislikes

Hostel fees is very high as compared to other iiits and government college
Like all other engineering colleges , the facilities are very average

Fees and Financial Aid:

The fees of the college is quite high as compared to Nits and some iiits also . Including living cost and tution fees the total expenditure can go as high as 14-16 lakhs for 4 years . Mostly scholarship is for category students whereas chances are very rare for a general category students to grab scholarship

The original campus is in IIT DELHI Technopark , Good facilities there.
Sports fest is the only fest organised here from last 2 years

Dislikes

No cultural engagement here , no sports activity that much .
college run in Sbit campus in palri village , no wifi

Fees and Financial Aid:

Almost every state scholarship is applied here. 8 lacs to the institute only + your own expenses like hostel fooding lodging. NSP is common scholarship of which i got benefit too . complete cost will be approx 15 16 lacs in 4 years

The institute has a course fee structure of 98000 per semester so your overall engineering degree can cost you 8 lakh for four years. Not to worry as many are eligible for scholarship opportunities provided by the govt and managed and filled by the institute. So if you are a candidate under OBC, OBC NCL, Sc/St then you can avail a scholarship upto 20,000 yearly plus you can also avail a laptop under this scholarship scheme.

College location close to NCR makes transportation easily accessible
Again beign in NCR it is close to a lot of delhi colleges ,and metro connectivity is a plus point , metro will soon be available in Sonepat too.

Dislikes

No campus, college currently runs on rented campus that have no basic facilities

Fees and Financial Aid:

the tution fee here increases 10% yearly , the current fee per sem is around 95k . for me will be around 8 lakh for all four years, since I have not opted for hostels , you can double this amount for including hostels college doesn't provide any scholarships, like NITs ans IITs provide for SC/ST and other students, you can only rely on government scholarships here. Average package here is around 19LPA however only around 60% students get placed here. Internships opportunities are worse here cause of improper management in TNP cell.
