Scope to get better and waiting for a permanent campus

Greens area nearby the institute and approachable
Good behavior, helping and polite nature of our seniors

Dislikes

Less events and clubs to participate and clubs are no very much active
Some teachers, especially of computer science are not keen to make efforts

Faculty:

The amount of good teachers of CSE are less and we do need better teachers. Some teachers are not keen to make efforts and it makes students to not come to college sometimes. Although some teachers are decent but some don't have a good behavior. We students need more good teachers

All about IIIT Sonepat (things that no one will tell you)

I am fresher (2024) so I don't know much about this college till now. But as of now campus is good. Not so big
Canteen is there, and classrooms have airconditioner.

Dislikes

This college is located in remote area, so you need to be in hostel everytime, if you want to go to market you need cab or auto rickshaw will would be costly.
There is no permanent campus. This college runs in SBIT (Sri Balwant Institute of Technology) campus.

Faculty:

Faculty members are supportive. They will help you, not everytime but sometimes. You need to work very hard to get some output from it. I am fresher 2024 here so rest I don't know much about this college as of now, bit in future after my first year I will add a detailed review of this college again to let everyone know about this college clearly.

The thing i liked about the college is its academic curriculum
friendly nature in the college is another thing i liked about the institute

Dislikes

its does not have its own campus yet ,its is running in transit campus
there is no such fest culture in the college due to its transit campus

Faculty:

the faculty to student ratio is quite good ,you can interact withteachers whenever you want they will listen to you . you can ask any doubt whenever you want there is no such boundation to interact with teachers they are very helpful, also they are highly qualified and have pretty much experience of teaching.

The college was nice but no perment campus but it's ok to live there but the food for South Indian students is very bad so we have better opportunity to go to other colleges if any one have health issues better not to join here in this college
For your bright future and save your lives from iiit sonepat it is very thof for you

Food is very bad and no perment CPUs is there for iiit sonepat
Make sure you should pay more free here and it's not under pure government

Faculty:

The faculty is good they teach well and they graduate from so of iits and experience in nits and so other colleges the faculty teaching is good that eus slow and understanding to students very well so the teachers are friendly with students no problem with teachers

Life at IIIT sonepat

The location of the college is in pretty decent area that is NCR which gives enough exposure towards companies.
Seniors are very helpful in both academics and social aspects .

Dislikes

Hostel fees is very high as compared to other iiits and government college
Like all other engineering colleges , the facilities are very average

Faculty:

Some of the faculty memebers are graduated from Nits while most are graduated from other government institutes like Jamia Millia . Our director Dr. M.N. Doja is also a professor in Jamia Millia University . The college has a decent teacher student ratio but helpful interactions between teachers and students is very low because of lack of interest between both teachers and students

The original campus is in IIT DELHI Technopark , Good facilities there.
Sports fest is the only fest organised here from last 2 years

Dislikes

No cultural engagement here , no sports activity that much .
college run in Sbit campus in palri village , no wifi

Faculty:

faculty are well qualified and do know how to deliver the content to the students . The effectiveness of delivering was good according to me . Although they are from grade 1 colleges ( NITs , IITs ).

Faculty:

IIIT Sonepat provides an excellent faculty with all Phd professors from reputed NITs and IITs. All teachers are excellent in their work and are always helpful to students . They are ready to provide valuable resources and give ample time to discuss topics in details and also provide insights on placement scenarios and refferal to Mnc companies.

College location close to NCR makes transportation easily accessible
Again beign in NCR it is close to a lot of delhi colleges ,and metro connectivity is a plus point , metro will soon be available in Sonepat too.

Dislikes

No campus, college currently runs on rented campus that have no basic facilities

Faculty:

There are around 4-5 teachers per batch in the college, some of them are really good and well qualified for the job while few aren't , The worst part here however is the teachers just read the pdf in the class and you are supposed to learn everything by yourself. Even though you can apporach the teachers anytime most of the time they will just say to you that they don't have enought time and ask you to solve your problem yourself.

Our professors had always tried to make study interesting for us. They were very friendly and accessible. I had a very pleasant relationship with all my professors and the other faculty members. All our professors were very supportive.
