- The location of the college is in pretty decent area that is NCR which gives enough exposure towards companies.
- Seniors are very helpful in both academics and social aspects .
Dislikes
- Hostel fees is very high as compared to other iiits and government college
- Like all other engineering colleges , the facilities are very average
Course Curriculum Overview :
The exams are conducted thrice each semester i.e. two mid sem exams and one end sem along with practicals which are conducted just before the end sem exams , and the checking of papers is done in average manner . The potential of the college can grow if the faculty members of the college become a bit more serious towards academics.
Internships Opportunities :
Internship opportunities are also available but only in limited fashion so again only of the student is smart enough to crack it . I don't have much information as I've just completed first year and am not exposed to them till now !!
Placement Experience :
Companies do visit our college and a student can grab campus placement if he/she is talented enough. A placement of 8-10 lpa is not tough to crack but again the placement rate is not much good and most high packages are cracked through off campus placements
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fees of the college is quite high as compared to Nits and some iiits also . Including living cost and tution fees the total expenditure can go as high as 14-16 lakhs for 4 years . Mostly scholarship is for category students whereas chances are very rare for a general category students to grab scholarship
Campus Life :
Hostels are scattered!! Girls and 4th year students live in IIT Delhi technopark campus where as others live in college hostels or flats or pgs . The gender ratio of the college is too low .Mess food is average. For sports agnito fest is conducted every year which is the best thing I liked about this college
Hostel Facilities :
The hostel feed I'd 75000 rupees per semester.thats why most students prefer to live outside in pgs or flats . Mess food is quite average and students have to pay themselves for the wifi connection. Instead living in flats or pgs is more affordable with an average expenditure of nearly 11k per month and with all basic facilities
Admission :
The admission process was similar like other institutions. We were allotted institution in josaa and then we have to physically appear 10 days after csab with documents like fee reciept , aadhar card , seat allotment letter . For general category student the cutoff for cse was around 35k
Faculty :
Some of the faculty memebers are graduated from Nits while most are graduated from other government institutes like Jamia Millia . Our director Dr. M.N. Doja is also a professor in Jamia Millia University . The college has a decent teacher student ratio but helpful interactions between teachers and students is very low because of lack of interest between both teachers and students
