IIIT Sonepat Cutoff 2024 is released by JoSAA based on JEE Main scores. IIIT Sonepat CSE Cutoff 2024 is 17341 – 25246 for the Round 1 general category. 17341 is the opening rank and 25246 is the closing rank under CSE. This year JoSAA will release cutoffs in five rounds for various B.Tech courses offered by IIIT Sonepat.

Admission:

At my time, the rank of my college for good enough but then I realised that I could have taken admission into a better university. Admission is through JOSSA after qualifying in JEE mains. Cut-off varies every year

All about IIIT Sonepat (things that no one will tell you)

I am fresher (2024) so I don't know much about this college till now. But as of now campus is good. Not so big
Canteen is there, and classrooms have airconditioner.

This college is located in remote area, so you need to be in hostel everytime, if you want to go to market you need cab or auto rickshaw will would be costly.
There is no permanent campus. This college runs in SBIT (Sri Balwant Institute of Technology) campus.

I chose this college over other colleges because this is the best option I was getting at my JEE main rank. Also this college is pretty near to my hometown in uttar pradesh, it takes about 5 hours to reach the college campus fromy hometown. So I chose this college over other options. Initially in JoSAA counselling I was getting ECE in JNU. But I wanted CSE which I got in first round of CSAB counselling in IIIT Sonepat

The thing i liked about the college is its academic curriculum
friendly nature in the college is another thing i liked about the institute

its does not have its own campus yet ,its is running in transit campus
there is no such fest culture in the college due to its transit campus

if you want to take admission in the college you have to appear for the jee main entrance exam which is conducted by the NTA ,after passing the exam you have to appear for jossa counselling which will be conducted online ,once you get the seat you need to fill the form circulated by the institute ,and you have to appear in the institute for document verification once documents are verified your admission will be confirmed,NTA conduct the jee main entrance twice in a year in the month of january and april

The college was nice but no perment campus but it's ok to live there but the food for South Indian students is very bad so we have better opportunity to go to other colleges if any one have health issues better not to join here in this college
For your bright future and save your lives from iiit sonepat it is very thof for you

Food is very bad and no perment CPUs is there for iiit sonepat
Make sure you should pay more free here and it's not under pure government

I have taken a entrance exam called jee mains and I got 85 percentage I have god the college iiit sonipat and iam now student of iiit sonipat now the addmition process is like in jossa then we have like 6 rounds we can choose that

Life at IIIT sonepat

The location of the college is in pretty decent area that is NCR which gives enough exposure towards companies.
Seniors are very helpful in both academics and social aspects .

Hostel fees is very high as compared to other iiits and government college
Like all other engineering colleges , the facilities are very average

The admission process was similar like other institutions. We were allotted institution in josaa and then we have to physically appear 10 days after csab with documents like fee reciept , aadhar card , seat allotment letter . For general category student the cutoff for cse was around 35k

The original campus is in IIT DELHI Technopark , Good facilities there.
Sports fest is the only fest organised here from last 2 years

No cultural engagement here , no sports activity that much .
college run in Sbit campus in palri village , no wifi

Admission through Jossa or Csab . must qualify jee mains , jee advanced isnot neccesary .. you also get reservation for sc , st or obc students. you have to come to college for physical verification after alloting the college

For admission into IIIT Sonepat you need to score a good percentile of about 97 percentile and above in Jee mains examination to secure ur seat in computer science curriculum. The overall admision process is a cake walk just u need to give the exam score well and opt for IIIT Sonepat during the Josaa and cash counseling. After that u just need to check the college website and download the admission brochure and follow the steps to guarantee ur seat.

College location close to NCR makes transportation easily accessible
Again beign in NCR it is close to a lot of delhi colleges ,and metro connectivity is a plus point , metro will soon be available in Sonepat too.

No campus, college currently runs on rented campus that have no basic facilities

In order to join the college you need to clear JEE and be on the top 1-2 percentile to get admission here. All the admission process here takes place in Josaa website with no application fees Being a govt college this college also have reservation for general student cutoff is around 15-25k crl. One can give JEE twice a year to get admission here reservation can be removed to improve the admission process here making it fair for all.

IIIT Sonepat, yet to become emerging compare to others.

The admission process is smooth as Josaa conduct the counselling and The College you get according to your choice filling. My College cut off goes to aboit 20k and my rank was 16k so I easily got my College on 3rd round. As in my College I have to provide all official documents online so it is easy for me to do the application process.
