Here hostel facilities are available at IIT Kanpur, but not mandatory. Students of MBA are provided with single accommodation and the rooms are comfortable enough. Multiple clean washrooms, 24X7 drinking water supply, geyser facility, solar panels, 24X7 high-speed internet, etc are a few of the amenities one will get. There are also volleyball, badminton, and basketball courts apart from table tennis, a yoga room and others in each hostel. One can avail of hostel facilities in general while registering for the institute's courses.
The hostel is compulsory. There are 13 boys' hostels on campus and 3 girls' hostels. Hostels are massive and equipped with mess blocks and open spaces. Meal quality varies from hostel to hostel but the overall quality is good. The menu is standard across all and keeps changing based on students' feedback and suggestions. Hostel registration is simple, you have some forms to fill out when you will reach the hostel.
Rooms are decent, but a little small if occupancy is for two. There is only a fan and so summers can be a tough time to be in rooms without coolers which one has to buy for self. Meals are good compared to other colleges with a diverse menu and there is the availability of canteen in the hostel which is open till 2 am. The registration process for hostels is also smooth.
I have done engineering from a premium private college charging approx 50-60k as mess fee, here we give 20-40k and get more varieties, quality and hygienic food. The day Scholar concept is not available at IIT Kanpur. Moreover, you wouldn't want to miss the campus life
IIT Kanpur provides Hostel accommodation with double accommodation for first-year MBA and single accommodation for the second year. The meal quality is excellent with a minimal rate of 55 per meal. The menu is diverse with cuisines from all around India. The registration process for the hostel is quite simple. Once registered in the allotted hostel office, the room is allotted to the student immediately.

The hostel has everything from sports facilities for badminton, basketball, volleyball etc in each hall. Also, each hall has its own canteen, store, and printout shop. Also, a few halls have salons which we can visit. Also mess food is one of the best with cuisines from both south and north.
You will be given a single accomodation room with all facilities needed in a basic sense. Needless to say, the meal quality is one of the best in the country. Day-scholars can very well choose to stay wherever they want. There's no cap on anything.
The hostel has basic facilities and well-ventilated rooms with proper lights and fans installed in every room. The hostel has a mess which provides breakfast, lunch and dinner every day. The menu is decided by the students and the quality and taste of the food are delicious and healthy.
