Candidates seeking admission must apply only through online mode through the website of the university. The payment of the application fee could be done in both online and offline modes. The selection criteria for both courses vary from one another. For admission to B.Tech, a student must have a valid score in JEE Main. If not, one can also appear in the entrance test conducted at the university level for both B.Tech and M.Tech.

Scholarships are given on the basis of merit or those deserving students who perform well in their studies. The scholarships are given by administration and the criteria of scholarship can differ on the basis of merit or minority or underprivileged students. University Institute of Engineering and Technology has a Central Placement Cell which works for the welfare of students by providing them with necessary training and expertise for future jobs. They train the students for placements in good companies. So far, the highest package bagged by the students is INR 6 LPA with an average package of INR 3 LPA.

I already took admission in HIT giving 50000 in campus and cancelled it after I got seat here only to come here because it is a central university. Admission here is done using jee and cuet counselling results. Spot counselling also happens for jee and cuet. jee students mainly apply for cs branch Cs cut off is increasing yearly To get cs you need to have high marks but if you are general you will easily get all others course with average marks I came here in cuet spot councelling after getting mechanical branch. I wanted civil branch and faculties told me to apply for civil in spot councelling so I got it easily on 269 marks in cuet.
Bachelor of technology is a graduation course which has the duration of 4 years. The course structure is very well organized and balanced and focuses on practical and lots of study. The days and exmas are generally very tiring.
This is a government university and has well-maintained management that work day and night for the betterment of its students. Students who qualify this university are bound to succeed and will not regret their decision.
