Uttar Pradesh Textile Technology Institute (earlier known as Government Central Textile Institute), Kanpur is a premier textile institute of North India. It made a modest start in 1914. In 1937, the Government Central Textile Institute came into existence in its present form by the merger of two premier textile institutes: one at Kanpur and the other at Rookie

Admission in my college had done by joint entrance exam score through aktu counseling.my college seat was alloted through aktu counseling process .seat acceptance fees was rs.20000.l am from general category so I didn't get any reservation benefits.i want to improve document verification process and site failure at the time of registration.

You have done a JEE main to get admission to this college and the cut-off of the college is at least 68 percentile. The placement is 100 per cent and the internship is also 100 per cent. The infrastructure of the college is too good and the is established in 1914

The admission process of Uttar Pradesh Textile technology institute Kanpur is for you to pass the exam of JEE mains and come in the cut-off range of this college. After clearing the JEE mains exam you have to two participate in counseling at UPSEE and through this, the college is allotted.

I've given the UPTU exam and cleared the cut-off for the general category and now our college is taking admissions from jee mains which you can easily find on jee mains website and its fee is not so high(approx. 600-700rs.) And if you can avail any reservation then also good for you and can take admission in this college the only thing is you need to clear the cut off of that exam.

In this college, you can get admission through the JEE MAINS entrance exam. And if your rank is less than 2 lakh you can take admitted very easily to this college. For getting a rank less than 2 lakh you have to score at least 40-50 marks in the entrance exam. For this course, the eligibility is you have to pass your 12th class with at least 60% marks in PCM.

I took the state entrance exam. Eligibility 12th with pcm. Application forms are filled out online and offline mode. Reservation as per the government rule. The admission process is very well helpful and staff behavior is so nice.

Faculty to student ratio is not good in any colleges in india except IIT, IIM, NIT. However it was satisfactory. All the academic activities was scheduled quite well and performed according to their calendar.Exams- if you are really interested in the study then it is not tough for you.

The course I chose is an interdisciplinary course making me able to understand much more than sticking to single subject of interest. All the faculties are well qualified and have prominent work in different researches . Every teacher there has his own way of teaching which doesnt make the study pattern monotonous and thus making it interesting. In my department there are 4 semesters and in each semester we give exams twice- mid sem and end sem . Exam papers are of moderate difficulty level , yet designed in such a way that you need to invest your intellect and presence of mind to answer the questions aptly. Scoring good marks isnt difficult if u have been attentive in class lectures.
Course Curriculum Overview:
There are four branches. 1-textile technology 2- textile engineering 3 textile chemistry 4-man made fiber technology. 60-60 students in tc and mmft and 40-40 students in TT and TE. Facility is highly qualified and supportive. There is semester exam method 2 sem /year.not so easy not so tough to pass. One have to study well.

UPTTI accepts JEE Mains scores for admission. The JEE Mains dates are not yet released in online mode.
The application for admission to the various courses at UPTTI is expected in the month of June 2023.
Is there p.hd chemistry course?
UPTTI Kanpur does not offer PhD in Chemistry. There are UG and PG courses offered in the fields of Textile Technology, Textile Chemistry and Man Made Fibre Technology.
