MIET Jammu Placements 2022: Highest Package: INR 13.34 LPA & Median Package: INR 4 LPA
Model Institute of Engineering & Technology (MIET), Jammu ranks among top 100 T-schools in India. The institute is conducting its placement drive for the batch 2023 and till now more than 300 students have been placed and the highest CTC of INR 12.45 LPA was offered. Over 70 companies participated in the placement drive.
MIET Jammu has already concluded its 2021 placement drive. The final placement drive witnessed 100% placements this year. The institute experienced a jump of 40% in the number of students placed this year as compared to last year.
The final placement report of MIET Jammu 2021 batch has been released. The highest CTC of INR 13.34 LPA was offered. The median CTC stood at INR 3.8 LPA. More than 150 students got placement offers by participating recruiters.
During MIET Jammu Placements 2021, students got job opportunities from big recruiting giants like Capgemini, Accenture, Cognizant Technologies, Wipro Technologies, Lido Learning and many others.

Ques. What is the Placement Policy and Procedure at MIET ?
Ans. All students graduating from MIET are eligible to participate in the placement activities. The placement cell has confirmed student’s registration, She/he meets the requirements /eligibility criteria specified by the company and by the policy. The procedure is given below:
- The company shall provide the offer letters to the Cell and not directly to the students.
- When the Cell receives an offer letter from a company for a student, it shall communicate the same.
- The Cell shall also declare a time period within which a student would have to inform the Cell regarding his/her decision on the offer. If he/she fails to do so, it shall be assumed that the offer has been rejected.
- At max, a student can have only two job offers and thereafter is considered out of the campus placement process.
- When a student receives a second offer, i.e., in the case of up gradation, then the previous offer automatically stands rejected.
- If a student participates in the placement process of a company, then he/she cannot leave it in between. If such a case arises, then it will be deemed as a rejection of the offer and the student is out of the campus placement process.

after completing the 4th sem tghe college provide the placements who are elligeble for it .the average cgp applicable for placements is 6.1 and the average package provided by college is 300000 and the highest is 700000.the companies that provide placements are infosys ,wipro ,ibm and tcs

- My overall experience in this college is good , the campus , the staff . classmates all are well in their behaviour. The teaching staff is all good , the studying is overall better.

- The eligibility criteria for the admission of the students should be fixed as 50% and 90% scored students both are given admission in the college.
- The hours for the classes are too long i.e, from morning to evening which makes it hard to concentrate in all of the classes.

The eligibility for placements in the college is in the last year of the course. The average package is 4,50,000 and the highest package is 13,0000. CGPA plays an important role in getting placements.

On the other hand student pursuing BBa and BCom degree have access to placement opportunities with promising fast moving consumer goods FMCG companies, these companies offer Avenue for students to apply their business, acumen and management skills Why the BBALLB honours program is a new addition to Miet , it is worth notice that the absence of immediate placement opportunity does not detect from the overall value of the program as the program matures and establish its footing. It is expected to attract different law, firms, etc

From 7 semester students are eligible for campus placements. Microsoft, IBM, Wipro, etc. have visited. 14lakh per annum is highest and 3-4 lakh is average. 80% of students getting placements. I will take the placement from college.

From 2nd last semester of their course, students become eligible for placements. College starts mock preparation in 2nd semester. The college has its platform to make students ready for placements such as Cocubes. Lots of companies visit campus such as Infosys, Capgemini, TCS, etc. lowest package- is 3.6 lakh per annum & highest package is 12 lakh per annum.

From the 7th semester, students are eligible for the placements... The highest package given this year was 12 lakhs /annum. The percentage of students getting placed is about 70-80% Companies visit in college are getafix, harman kardon, newgen, tata elxi, Hexaware, Wipro, Planet's park and many more

Most of the students got placed from the campus, but most of them didn't join. Because the companies were hiring for call centers only. Some of the companies were itenic (which was hiring for HCL and Wipro), and Tech Mahindra. The package that they were offering was around 2 lakh. Only the students of the final year were eligible for placements.
