The course curriculum is strictly followed and timely updated by the faculty through Google Classroom, which is a very good off-class communication medium between the teacher and the students.
Yes, Model Institute of Engineering and Technology (MIET) in Jammu provides internships for 4th year students and also offers great opportunities for freshers.

Dislikes

Yes, everything is in proper order, except there was a fake placement drive due to an irresponsible placement coordinator.
I did an internship at HCL without a stipend. In fact, we had to pay 20000 to HCL. However, it was the worst experience Ive had during an internship.

The environment , infrastructure is very good and the faculty is also very nice and supportive .

Course Curriculum Overview:

The courses provided in the curriculum are also good. The subjects in the curriculum are for real world applications like dbms, operating system, DSA which are very crucial from placement point of view.

The placement process is based on the performnce of the student in overall course . The package is Depends on the Merit and skill of the student on overall couse with all skills in his field as well overall personality .

one of the things i like about my college is the vibrant student and teachers community
support from the teachers that makes college experience truly enjoyable.

far away from home and limited availability of car parking
slow wi-fi and having poor internet connection

after completing the 4th sem tghe college provide the placements who are elligeble for it .the average cgp applicable for placements is 6.1 and the average package provided by college is 300000 and the highest is 700000.the companies that provide placements are infosys ,wipro ,ibm and tcs

there is not eligibility for the courses anyone can pursue any courses
there is no reservation seats in the college

My overall experience in this college is good , the campus , the staff . classmates all are well in their behaviour. The teaching staff is all good , the studying is overall better.
The campus and the facilities they provide to the students , the teaching staff and the courses they provide for the development of students are well.

Dislikes

The eligibility criteria for the admission of the students should be fixed as 50% and 90% scored students both are given admission in the college.
The hours for the classes are too long i.e, from morning to evening which makes it hard to concentrate in all of the classes.

Placement Experience:

The eligibility for placements in the college is in the last year of the course. The average package is 4,50,000 and the highest package is 13,0000. CGPA plays an important role in getting placements.

On the other hand student pursuing BBa and BCom degree have access to placement opportunities with promising fast moving consumer goods FMCG companies, these companies offer Avenue for students to apply their business, acumen and management skills Why the BBALLB honours program is a new addition to Miet , it is worth notice that the absence of immediate placement opportunity does not detect from the overall value of the program as the program matures and establish its footing. Supportive Faculty: The faculty members were knowledgeable and supportive, providing valuable guidance throughout my academic journey.

Limited Extracurricular Opportunities: While the academic environment was strong, there were limited opportunities for extracurricular activities, which could have enriched the overall college experience.
Placement Support: Although placement opportunities were available, the support provided by the college in terms of training and placement assistance could have been more robust.

Placement Experience:

From 7 semester students are eligible for campus placements. Microsoft, IBM, Wipro, etc. have visited. 14lakh per annum is highest and 3-4 lakh is average. 80% of students getting placements. I will take the placement from college.
