Faculties are 2% and students are 10% , the Faculty to student relationship is not too good they just teach you and complete your course on time but you can't approch them for your personl problems. The name of Faculty i don't like is dr. Naveen Chouhan because of there nature, he is always showing his ego and strictness among all student's. In every semester they take 2 mid semester (mid term) in which 1-2 units are prepared for exams

Campus Life:

All the books and journals are accessible and available in the library. All the class room's have smart classes and AC facilities, blackboard, etc. Crickete, bollyboll, badminton, etc all types of sports are on camps, extra curricular activists are also offered on camps.

We have personal pool also. Professors and Infrastructure is also very good. Fees of llb course per year is almost 10 to 15 thousand. The main background of this university is their cultural and political scope. We and see many alumini as a leader or celebrity. This university campus also produced a human being with good quality . We can get many scholarship and hostels facilities.

Faculty:

The student faculty ratio is almost 1:40. If you are a good student then no need to worry. Teachers are very supportive. They take mainly two exams final and before final they take sessional examination. If you failed in sessional then you are not ne able to pass the semester. To clear your backlog, you have wait for one year. This is the worst rule you can ever get.

The faculty to student ratio per class is 1:10. They are easily approachable for any doubts in lecture or if you want to publish any journal. Until now the best Professor I met was Prof. Shubhajeet Bhattacharya and Prof. Sanjay Dutta. They helped a lot in improving my speaking skills in public. There are a total of 10 exams throughout the course of 10 Semesters. Out of 100 students only 1-2 or barely anyone fail a semester. Yes, there are students who get backlogs in particular subjects but that is also less.

Hello my name is piyush iam pursuing LLB Hons from University of Allahabad. Currently iam in final year , yearly fees of my college is 4259 for me it is not too much high it's decent fees , and also tuition fees , caution fees admission fees and many others included in it Except 4259 you did not need to spend a single penny in college that's the complete yearly fees . And the whole llb fees is just multiply 4259 by 3 that's the complete fees of llb hons . Teachers staff everyone is too supportive, also they will help you to lift up your carrier and also help in your career guidance. Library facilities also available for where books can be issued for free so that's also too good that you do not need to spend your money on books . And also university of Allahabad having too low fees of all other subjects like b.com , bsc etc . If we compare fees structure with other colleges then university of Allahabad offers low fees and good guidance.

Faculty:

Firstly I told earlier faculty is too good , even they support to in your career guidance amazing faculty. In our law faculty one of the best teachers are Sandhya Verma mam , Dr. Ajay Singh sir , anurag Verma sir , Bheem Singh sir , Dr. Sonal Shankar mam , Dr. Vijay Laxmi mam and Roshan lal sir. And also other faculty members are also good but the above mentioned are the best among all. None of the faculty will give you the single reason to dislike them but they some lack in explanation but over all they are good .and of supportive nature . Exam are of moderate level not too tough nor too easy but rarely student fails or else everyone passes the failures are the one who never studies if your study Lil bit also then also you can pass .

There are a lot of events happening in the campus, be it cultural or informational. Freshers of different departments as well as the general freshers and other cultural activities are seen often here. The library is full of all the necessary books. Sports and extracurricular activities are given a lot of importance as they are necessary for the growth of a student as it helps in developing the individual as well as leadership qualities of a student. There are a lot of student bodies such as union members or other notary clubs, cultural clubs etc.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I opted for the LLB course because its more of a personal preference for me. I've always felt like being a lawyer i could do something for the society. The curriculum prepares us for real world applications as we have internship programmes and moot court experiences. According to me having the moot court compulsory from the first year itself would have been more helpful. The frequency of exams is perfect as their isnt any excessive pressure on students nor does it allows the students to laze around.

Exams are not very difficult. They are easily structured and we get 3 hours to write semester and model exam for 70 marks. 50 for cycle test and 11/2 time.

Most faculties except a few at SRM school of law are really friendly and approachable. They will help you with your requests if valid. Some faculties maybe tightly wound but that's not much of a concern. The faculty I personally liked would be our ex. Dean Dr. Vincent Komraj. The man is a legend and is the most approachable. As far as other staff are concerned, I would rate Dr. Sumana Vedant, Mr. Manglacharan Patra, & Ms. Anviti Mishra very highly. There are other great faculties too but I haven't got the opportunity to interact with them. There is no one that I don't like. For us, there are 3 exams per semester. 1. Cycle test, 2. Model, and 3. Semester exam. For new batches there are 2 cycle tests. 25 marks for internals and 75 marks from semester exams. Some students fail to clear exams because they don't care to do well. Course and curriculum are alright. It keeps getting updated for every new batch.

Campus Life:

SRM is known for its events and festivals. They're always grand and enjoyed by many. Within the law college there are Forum Justitia (Student Law Club), Moot society, and Lex Khronika (Student Run Magazine) where student can take part. Outside law school and in the university there are many clubs. There is also a directorate of student affairs where students can join. There are many arenas for the students to shine and showcase their talents and skills. They will also be recognised for it. Classrooms are equipped with projectors, Air conditioners, etc. Library and moot court too is great.

So, Course of Llb is already decided. I think this is perfect for students . If we shall decide to give any government exam like PCS J or any judiciary exam . This course is enough for that exam because it is made on the basis of judiciary exam. I think course curriculum and teaching method is awesome. Only one thing i want to improve is that us projector for teaching. and submit assignment in ppt or pdf format not in offline mode.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

All the fees is already decided from University of Allahabad. Because its affiliated college. Fees for LLb is approx 5000 per year. Government provide us scholarship. Not from college . I think this college is one the best college but placement and internship opportunities are zero.

Ques. Is doing law from Allahabad University good?

● Top Answer By Alankrita Rajbhar on 27 Jul 22

Ans. If you want a career in litigation, then Allahabad University is a good option. You will get ample time and resources to build required skills. Allahabad High Court and lower courts will assist in clearing your basics and make you a professional. It is a good option for judicial services too. You will be able to manage your preparations, as attendance rules aren’t strict.  But for corporate sector jobs, Allahabad University isn’t a good option. Very few companies visit the campus placements.  Allahabad University law degrees are cost-effective compared to NLUs. The total tuition fee for LLB at the university is only INR 2.3 Lakhs. Also, Allahabad isn’t a costly city.Read more

Ques. How do I study for LLB exams and get good marks Im in LLB 1st year since 2 years? How do I write papers from Pune University?

● Top Answer By Sakshi Gupta on 29 Sept 21

Ans. Exams are simple to pass, however gaining necessary information is a little tougher. It's the right technique to make your concepts obvious, mentioning sections and focusing on the bare act. Doing the following would be a lot easier method: Classroom lectures are always the most effective. Making running notes entails writing down what you believe is important. Choose a standard reading book (textbook/reference book) for each subject.  This is the only book you should read if you want to pass your examinations.  An author’s book, often known as a "Commentary," would be beneficial for conceptual clarity as well as legal expertise and terminology. Presentation is another useful tool. You could present the answer in your own distinct style. Make a clear format for how you'll write your answers. The following is an example of a possible response: A brief introduction (A line or two introducing the answer to the question) The case's/facts questions (if any) Provision of the law (Includes Section, Article, Clause if you know it) The inference made by you (the actual answer that is examined) Jurisprudence (if any) Conclusion If the issue is for lower marks, your structure can be simplified, but the Section, Article, Clause, and Case law should still be included. If recalling Sections and other details is tough, focus on the most important ones. When a topic is presented, the rest of the book can be read leisurely with consistent and pertinent references.Read more

Ques. Can a SOL DU graduate student apply for L.L.B regular from a Delhi university?

● Top Answer By Saloni Kaushik on 29 Sept 21

Ans. SOL DU is recognized by UGC, so you will be eligible to apply for a regular LLB from Delhi University. The following are the requirements for admission to Delhi University's law school for the LLB degree program. You must have a Graduate/Post-Graduate Degree from the University of Delhi or its equivalent with at least 50% marks if you are from General and Other Backward Classes (OBC). However, the cut-off marks for OBC applicants in the Entrance Test will be up to 10% lower than the marks announced for general candidates. OBC category students are granted a 5% relaxation in the minimum eligibility requirements.  The widows/wards of defense personnel (CW) category are granted a 5% relaxation in the minimum eligibility requirements for general candidates.  Candidates belonging to the physically handicapped (PH) category are granted a relaxation of up to 5% in the minimum eligibility prescribed for general candidates. You will also need to give an entrance examination if you are applying for this course. I recommend that you contact the relevant university for more information. Read more

Ques. How is Amity University, Noida for 3 year law?

● Top Answer By Nikita Sen on 17 Apr 21

Ans. As far as a review of doing a 3 year LLB from Amity Law College, Noida, a friend of mine who did the course was not too keen on the college. According to her, the overall reputation of the college is not very good. As far as the faculty is concerned, it is alright, nothing extraordinary. If you want to seriously pursue a law degree, a complete five-year law course is much better appreciated in the market. And if you are looking at placements, they are not that good. You will have to look for a job on your own if you are not from the top three national law schools. If not, do an LLM from abroad. That will probably help. However, if you intend to pursue law within the country itself, you should look at colleges in South India that could be better than Amity Noida. Try IFIM law school as a first. Definitely don’t go to Amity Law School Noida.  Read more

Ques. Can I take a year off after the 1 year of LLB in KSLU University?

● Top Answer By Vijay Mishra,  on 30 Oct 21

Ans. Once you enroll yourself for any law course with KSLU, you will have to complete the course within the prescribed time by the university.  For example, if you are in the 3 years course of LLB then you will be given +3 years to finish the course (i.e, 3+3). If you surpass the time you will have to enroll for the fresh batch. Otherwise, you can also keep the course going and be enrolled, take a year's break, and get back. But it is difficult to catch up with the academics considering a break since they take time to follow up.  Also, it is heard in rumors that KSLUs evaluation system is unfair and has left students in much agony.Read more
