IIIT Bhagalpur review backbencher pov.

Likes

Seniors are cooperative. Infrastructure is so good. the new campus is complete now
Placements are fine depending on you, like few even got 89 lpa, for placement they are working really hard everyday.

Dislikes

Faculties are very rude sometimes. The behavior of faculties towards students is not so good
Quality of food sometimes is so bad that it's almost unedible

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

Every year the fee is increased a little. I think Btech from our college is going to cost me 12 lacs (3lpa). State government and center government scholarship are available. As far no more campus employment jobs are available.

Likes

Coding culture is very good, clubs are active very much
New infrastructure and very big library and computer centre

Dislikes

Transport facility is not up to the mark.
Hostel quality is good but it is very expensive.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

As we know that IIITs are public-private institute so fees are high as compared to IITs and NITs. There is. Scholarship facilities for categories students provided by government. There is also loan facility for the students.

Likes

The faculties are highly qualified and supportive .
The hostels are decrnt and quite clean . There is a lift too in our hostel

Dislikes

The college is under construction so the main campus is still small

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

The tution fees is quite high and there is a huge difference within fees of different years . The total cost including hostel , mess and other fees could be estimated around 13-14 lakhs for whole course . There are various scholarships provided like NSP , and several state level scholarships , the college is supportive with scholarships like in NSP a sc-st studemt can get upto 1,00,000 per year There are various clubs and responsibilties roles like VP , club lead , coordinators etc

The locality is not very good as we have a shared campus .

The course is expensive for a middle class family. well it is the case for most iiits . There is no fee wavier on basis of income. we have goverment scholarships , scholarships based on category ,and loans

First of all this is a IIIT, so it will give you a leverage from all the other colleges in terms of placements and culture. If we talk about academics the classes and attendence are really flexible for the first year as I have experienced till now.
The classes are short and the new academic building is in use now so there will be vented ac no problem from the heat, as for the hostel the space might be an issue apart from that hostel is a great place it will have give you a lot of memories.

Dislikes

Construction is yet to be completed, there should be two hostels till now but only one is constructed which can create spacing problems in future and other infrastructure like library will also take time before completion.
The sporting facilities are very midiocre, the ground is not labelled and Items for every sports are not always available. The completion of a good playable ground will take a lot of time.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

Tution fees is around 1 lakh for every semester and including other fees it gets around 120000 for every semester except for admission which requires 20000 more and moreover hostel fee and mess fee are excluded they are around 20000 and 16000 for every semester. There are opportunities for scholarship in the campus, the faculty also provides all information and how you can apply for a scholarship, are you eligible or not so in terms of scholarship the institute is supportive. With the help of seniors and peers yiu can have accesd to many internship programme and there are also roles in the college itself like club leads from which you can have leader experience

Likes

Permanent campus construction is completed. Hostel is very near to academic building. The professors are generally supportive. There is No ragging in this college.

Dislikes

The campus is a bit small.Also, Bhagalpur is not a metro city so very high quality facilities should not be expected.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

The fees are to be paid just before the commencement of the semester. The scholarship varies according to state and category. Generally, students with income less than 4 or 5 lakh are able to get scholarships from their respective states.

Likes

The coding culture is great here with dedicated mentorship for coding. You will find people doing stuff in different fields and the students are very much updated with the current market requirements.
The senior - junior interaction is great which really enhances the college environment.

Dislikes

The college campus is quite small (50 acres) when compared to NITs or other IIITs.
There is dearth of sports facilities. We don't have a dedicated indoor sports facility yet.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

The fee structure for the entire course will be provided at the time of admission and it will be followed, there won't be any changes in that. There might be increment in hostel and mess fee. The total fee including hostel and mess is around 13 lakhs which is quite expensive considering its a central gov college. There are no scholarships or financial aid provided by the college for any category based on income or cast. Students can avail the various scholarships provided by the gov and private organisations and the college will help with it.

Things i like in my college includes excellent faculty ,state-of-the art facilities. The vibrant campus life and supportive communtiy make learning enjoyable.The diverse student bode,helpful seniores who guides us in proper way.
And wonderful placement opportunities. Supportive faculties and good hostel and mess facilities.

Dislikes

Things i want to suggest to improve standard of my college is need some well developed equipments which help students to develop their skills.

The fee structure at my college varies dependingon facors like the program of study,hosteler or non-hosteler. However,college offers various options for financial assistance to help students to manage thier expenses.They provide scholorship.

So i ' m second year student at my institution, so now have spent a full academic year here and now i can say that i am experienced enough to talk about my college and its environment. First it's a institution situated mainly in rural area.
So one cannot expect a flashy and out of the box life near this institution. But if you are getting into this college you may have a very good environment inside the institution for whether its your coding skills .

Dislikes

In this institution you will face difficulties as power cut which is going to happen when you can't even expect. Hostel lofe is good but you are not allowed outside after 10 o clock. Well space problem for one room is that here we have three
Person living in one room. Guess other than that in my academic will have to say i had to study to get good grades . Well you will not know when the semester is over so better be prepared for exam and also maintain your coding skills that is what

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

Well my college is not that kind of a college in which you can just take admission and study it is a very high price course provided by them . For most of the students some scholarships are there based on their caste like NSP PMS other and other private scholarships also gets provided by the institution and others scholarship you can also prevail by yourself. Well for studying my course electronics and communication I will barely have to spend almost 15 lacs mix hostel and my academics most of it will come from loan which I took from Bank many of us in the institution on the base on the loans of banks . Well for us it is very difficult to take decisions for the beneficiary of loan is get back to us or not but according to the placement of the college we can say that most of the time it's what we put we get its that we get. But after being so much of loan one have to be very sure that you are studying well and doing everything that you can get to placement this creates a mentally press

I like that it is easy to score in this college as everything is set by professor only
Batchmates are really kind and helpful and are nice

Dislikes

There is no college life and campus is yet not completed
The city has nothing to give and there is nothing in this city

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

I think that the tuition fees in our college is too much , for me it's around 900000 and with all fees included the degree will cost me around 1200000. From my side this is not much affordable but my family has been managing everything. And I was not eligible for any scholarship as I am general. But many have opted scholarships.
