  • A regular MTech degree from a university with a minimum of 55% marks or a CGPA of 6 on a scale of 10 is required for a Ph.D. in Engineering/Technology in the respective branch. GATE/NET qualified students will be given preference.
  • BE/ B Tech (ECE or relevant areas of Electronics Engineering) (minimum 60 percent), and ME/ M. Tech /MS (ECE or Instrumentation or Measurements or Signal Processing or Embedded Systems or VLSI) with a minimum of 60 percent marks or grade point average from any accredited Indian or Foreign University.

The annual fest of NIT Jalandhar is called Utkansh and the technical fest is techniti, these are one of the biggest fests in North India famous singers come here like hardy sandu, there is a library for issuing books, classrooms are full ac with projectors, almost every sport is available here except swimming pool, clubs like TEDx, zeal, TCA are present.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

The Fees depend on what your category is, if you are general, then your fees will be 88000 and if you avail reservations like SC and ST, you have no tuition fees and you only pay for the additional expenses excluding the hostel which comes out to be 25500, there are several scholarships, you get like bpcl scholarship, ONGC scholarship.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Its really a good platform. In the first six months we have learnt a lot from research work, yes they guide us well in Placement opportunities. A lot of visits were organized during the semester and a lot of learning and due to this, we got how to solve a real life problems of today's scenario.

College Events:

There are many events that are celebrated every year like Technical events in which we gets the chance to design latest projects, models, patents. Cultural events like aagaz and many more celebrated every year and in house technical competitions among various departments are held.

Campus Life:

My college life was the best memory of my life. We came here to this college as unknown to everyone and in that 4 year, bonding created like a family member, the faculty is also very helpful, and we also help each other in college and hostel, there is not the only study held in the college but also a lot of fun in every interval of time. We enjoyed a lot.

College Events:

1.College Fest every year 2.Sports Day every 6 months, 3.International conference every year on research 4. Roadies Auditions And many more events held by the college to entertain the students and changing the environment of college because the only study is not the main motive of the college.

Placement Experience:

Placement is ofcourse 99% +, and the remaining 1 % are interested in Enterpreneurship and higher studies. The college provides internship as well as other assitantship for the interested and well deserved candidates. Placement starts early from August every year and continue till the end of the semester. Even some companies provides in house internships cum job as well.

Admission:

Admission Process through KIITEE exam, generally the notification comes around november-december, for the next academic year. Standard selection procedure for all the courses and a proper and transparent academic system. The exam is being conducted in different cities of India, free of cost (application) for encouraging the number of applicants.
