Bhagalpur College of Engineering Admissions
Admissions for the B.Tech course is on the basis of JEE Mains examination, while for the M.Tech course, GATE scores are considered. Students have to appear in the Undergraduate Engineering Admission Counselling (UG EAC) for B.Tech, and Postgraduate Engineering Admissions Counselling (PG EAC) for M.Tech. This is conducted by the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination (BCECE) Board.
How to Apply?
- Visit the official website of BCECE. Click on “Online Application Portal of UG EAC 2020 / PG EAC 2020” as per your requirement.
- Fill in the required information to make an account.
- After successfully registering and activating the account, sign in and submit the required details. Click on Save and Continue.
- Upload the photograph, signature and documents.
- Enter the educational details and click on Save and Continue.
- Preview the information. If everything is accurate, click on Proceed to Payment.
- Pay the application fee.
- Download a copy of the form.

Bhagalpur College of Engineering Placements
A dedicated Training and Placement cell is present in the college that facilitates smooth recruitment of the students via placement and provides vital training. The Placement Session begins in the month of August and goes up until June of the following year. Invitations are sent to the prospective companies and students are prepared with pre-placement talks, tests, GDs, personal interviews, etc. During the 2018-19 session, 26 undergraduates were successfully placed in reputed companies. - Library: The digital library of the college goes hand in hand with the progressive technology as it contains around 3000 online courses that are available for the students and the faculty both to expand their ocean of knowledge. It is hosted on the online platform as well as on a mobile application which makes access to information available anywhere anytime.
- Hostel: There is a hostel facility on campus for both the male and female students. Regular maintenance of the spacious hostel rooms is done and is supervised by the warden and hostel superintendent. Application for admission to the hostel should be made prior to the prescribed form.

I choose this college over other colleges because of good infrastructure and placement service. For admission process you can apply through your jee main result or give exam through bcece. I have taken addmission through my jee main results . Cutoff of both jee main and bcece exam are different and varies for different categories.

- Tequp teachers knowledge, hostels have very big rooms, no attendence tension, college life meet many children who are from poor background who cannot afford education at low fee they can get technical degree in this college

- Hostel mess are very dirty no heigine maintained all the workers are in lungi dhoti with very bad outfit no indoor games facility available, irregular classes after 2 nd year all the old teachers do not take any classes most of the time

Admission process when I was admitted was through bcece exam conducted in 2 stages but now they take directly through jee mains from 2018 . Eligibility frobthe course is jee mains qualified. Application form can be found from bcece portal . There is reservation for sc/st/ ebc/ obc . The frequency of exam for 1 semester is 1 ut and 1 sessional within 6 months . Admission process of bcece is not so good at my time it was offline mode a hard copy was sent to board not I don't now it has changed or not

The admission process here is through the jee mains exam which is conducted by nta after that your rank card is generated for bihar engineering, the cutoff here varies from 80 to 94 %tile , for ME - 80 %tile ,CE-87 %tile , EE - 85%tile ,ECE -89 %tile, CSE - 91 %tile . Sc ,st, OBC and ews reservation are present

I cleared BCECE(LE) examination to get admission there, my rank was 44 (State), the examination was MCQ based with time duration of 2 hr. The admission process was smooth, it took half day to complete.

There are two.way to get into this college. 1- UGEAC(Based on JEE Mains) 2- BCECE(DIRECT EXAM). First you have to fill UGEAC registration form after JEE Mains result then you have to wait till you rank generare all over Bihar. Based on your rank and previous years trend you have to fill seat choice. After it you will get seat allotment first round then if you wish to go to second round you can or take admission.

- Faculties are experienced. They are always ready to help out students.

- Student here are forced to be the part of casteism culture.
- Most of funds provided by government to the college for its welfare are being cleared under the table, straight into chaired people pockets

I got into this college by giving an entrance exam which is conducted by BCECE (Bihar engineering) I got good rank in the exam so the situation with me was i can choose any branch and I got that branch. The admission process was quite lengthy but college staff were cooperative. Some were quite arrogant also or the cab say irritated.

- The campus of this college is very large as compared to other colleges of Bihar Engineering University (BEU).It has good facilities for students who wants to study B.Tech at negligible cost.We have very good labs ,workshop and few digital classrooms.
- We have separate Buildings ( Departments) for Mechanical,Electrical ,Civil , Electronics and Communication,Computer ,out of which Civil has the largest department overall.The intake for all UG Programms is 60 and for Civil it is 127 for year 2023.

- Although every system has few disadvantages so BCE has too some disadvantages.Some of them like Waterlogging problems after Monsoons and a large area of our college has been left unused.During rainy season Water issue is a major problem.
- The another major Problem of my college is that local people can be found roaming in College campus, playing in Playgrounds which I do not like at all.College Management should Stop unauthorised entry of local people.

The Minimum eligibility of this Course is that Student must qualify JEE Mains Exam .Most of the students in Bihar Engineering come through JEE MAINS.BCECE Board conducted its own counselling called UGEAC (Under Graduate Engineering admission counselling).The registration fee for UGEAC Counselling is Rs 1200 and based on that a separate Merit list is Prepared .After that a Rank card is being published and After that choice filling starts . The another way of admission in Bihar Engineering is by giving BCECE Exam which is conducted by BCECE Board every year.But for that seats left after JEE MAINS counselling is used.So a few seats are available for that. Like other colleges BEU also conducts semester exams for it's students after every six months but sometimes it delays due to some reasons like our semester is running late for 2K23 Batch. My experience for admission was not good.
