Indian Institute of Information Technology, Design and Manufacturing (IIITDM) located in Jabalpur, was established in 2005 as an autonomous government institution. IIITDM Jabalpur offers admissions in 6 undergraduate, 13 postgraduate, 9 doctoral, and 5 integrated PhD programs. It offers B.Tech, B.Des., M.Tech, M.Des. and Ph.D. along with different specializations.

To be eligible for admission to B.Tech and B.Des, applicants must qualify for the JEE Main for B.Tech and UCEED for B.Des. They should also have passed high school or must be in the final year of their studies.

Admissions to M.Tech and M.Des programs at IIITDM require applicants to have a relevant bachelor’s degree and qualify for the GATE for M.Tech and CEED entrance exam to be eligible for admissions.

Ph.D. admissions, on the other hand, require a relevant Master’s degree along with (JRF) UGC-NET or GATE from aspiring candidates to be eligible for admissions. Students pursuing B.Tech can directly opt for Ph.D. only on the condition that they fulfill all the eligibility criteria.

Students must be GATE qualified in order to get admission to the M.Tech program and CEED qualified for the M.Des program.

GATE 2025

GATE is required by those students who are willing to apply for a master’s or Ph.D. program. The section below throws light upon the registration and requirement of documents.

Final year students must submit Provisional Certificate Letter as per format issued by the Home of Institute/Dean/Registrar/Head of Dept.
Candidates in the final year of AMIE have to submit their mark sheet for Section A of AMIE in case of professional equivalent qualifications.
Caste Certificate/Disability or PwD Certificate (if applicable).
Candidates pursuing a higher degree or masters have to submit the qualifying degree certificate.

The college I was interested at the starting was nit bhopal which was close to my place of living but the branch I was getting was not of my interest so choose this college over other and I think that was a good decision, you will alloted this college through josaa or csab and then you will receive a date for college visit and further processes.

This college was best at 56k rank jee mains also it has advantage of low fees over other colleges . I was also getting CSE in lower IIITS and civil in NITS still i choosed this college because of its extensive research and development fundings and a chance of learning new technologies .

Life as a Student of IIITDM Jabalpur

Admission:

I wanted a National college which should be government, according to my rank in JEE Mains I was getting other Nits and iiits and also some state government colleges but i preferred this because it is in my home city jabalpur No i didn't got any rejections i applied to because this college was my fiest priority and according to my interest. According to your JEE mains rank when you are selected in this college by Jossa/Csab counselling Online physical reporting is done first then within 10-15 days you have to physically report to the college, after it you are alloted your respective hostel to live and from next week classes get started My overall admission experience was really very good, it was my dream college You have to achieve rank under 1.5 lakhs to get admission here if you are from obc category For general category you have to achieve rank under 70000 to come here For sc/st candidates you have to achieve rank under 2 lakhs to come to this college as per previous year cutoff
