About SRIT
With the blessing “Varsoa Brother” Shri Ram Group of Institutes come into existence on 9th July 2001. The group is headed by renowned Electronics Scientist & Educationist Dr. S.P. Kosta (Ph.D. Comm. Engg., Recipient of Aryabhatt Award, ex. director of ISRO Banglore and ex. Vice Chancellor, University of Jabalpur.)
Shri Ram Group is one of the few institutions in Central India. Following are a few highlighting features:
- Completely Wi-Fi Campus with around 150 access points.
- 20 plus Mbps of bandwidth for internet with dedicated leased line.
- 2100 + computers supported by Quad Core, Xeon based Rack/Blade and desktop Servers.
Placements:-
- TCS, in its very first recruitment drive, created a State Placement Record in the year 2011 by selecting 210 final year students of SRIT. This is the highest number of campus selections by any company in a single campus drive in the entire Madhya Pradesh !! Goes on to show the quality of our students!!
- Zensar Technologies selected 176 pre-final and final year students for final placement and its COE program from SRIT.

- Mehak, the annual mega-cultural festival of Shri Ram Group – a large and glamorous fest, is celebrated in March every year. It is an amalgamation of entertainment, excitement, and puissance.
- NCC:- SRIT is First private engineering college in mahakoshal region having two platoons with 53 cadets each.

- NRC:-IIT MUMBAI (HELIOS COMMITTEE) organized NATIONAL ROBOTICS CHAMPIONSHIP 2014 ‘s First Round in SHRI RAM INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY , JABALPUR (M.P.) ; ON 29th AND 30th AUGUST , 2013.

Auditorium : Considering that a variety of events like cultural programmes, seminars , debates, plays and other programmes are conducted throughout the year, a central auditorium is under construction with a seating capacity of more than 1500 persons.

- Teacher faculty are very friendly in nature one of my best teacher Mr.Pradeep sir he's an Iron man for SRIT every student fav because he's good in physics.
- Campus are wonderful in front of the campus there was an Big- fountain and there will be a huge garden lots of space for sitting and there will a canteen also the south indian food are very good you can try a ragada patis also

If I want to study in my home city only in my hometown only like in Jabalpur there are majorly 3 to 4 colleges which are focused in engineering but why did I choose serum institute of technology because it is firstly based in the heart of the city in the centre of the city so I don't have to travel a very long distance okay so it's very hectic to travel a very long distance so it will be easy to just grab my things and just come to college and then go to home and then study so it is very easy to handle it is very much less time consuming so yeah and secondly it is not very much expensive as others the fee structure is very good the teachers are very good and of all the placement team is very good the other colleges in this college they are providing same number of placements but the amount of fees is very very different from both of the colleges

- I liked the thing about our department of computer science is that our all teachers are highly educated with phd degree and they're explanation is good.
- I like that our college faculties are good and they also give advices for life and the importance of life also so that we can nove forward in our life.
Dislikes
- There are many dislikeable things in our college. The classes are having air conditioners but they are so old and not working they seem like they are from 2006 or 2007. They did not work and the some classes are short and conjustable.
- In our classes there are 81 students and there are 15 girls and rest boys but the classes are short and the celinng fans are less

I took Jee Mains. On thst basis i got admission in shri ram institute of technology. I am in obc category and got admission on the basis of scholarship. Shri ram institute of technology is perfect for the bachelor of technology degree for the education. The admission process in our college that we have to fill some form online so that it will select which college we are located to and study there the process is so simple. The fees is so high as they asked but the facilities are not worth the money and campus selection process is also not good

- I think there should be programs like internship to discover pros and cons of the field and to identify your roots.

Admission:
The admission was on the bases of cut - off , it does not require any entrance exams for the course. The process was so easy, does not require any efforts again and again. Eligibilty of this couse was more the 60% in each pcb subject.

- Less placements and no internship programs.
- Canteen is big but food quality is not good and high price.

Students need 60 percent in 12th for this course eligibility. You can contact the admission staff of the college they will provide every detail and application. Students need to take JEE exam for more benefits. There is a semester-wise year and 1 semester is about 6 months with 2 mid-term exams and a final exam, the final exam is not too difficult but still you need to study to pass the exam.

In SRIT Jabalpur and any of other private college they will explain curriculum according to them and they will register you and will do your council according to them but if are aware of cutoff, rankings and councelling process then do your councelling by yourself.....there are 5% seats reserved in every college for students with higher marks in jee so try to get that quota of TFW
