The course and curriculum at Amritha Vishwa Vidyapeetham Coimbatore Is really difficult because I am coming from Kerala in which I studied state syllabus and is really hard for me to follow with the Amritha curriculum because it consist mainly of CBSE and ICSE so it is really difficult and I need to work extra extra hard because the faculty doesn't literally spoonfeed you
There are lot of Faculties in mechanical department, we have many professors who have phd and masters in various fields. their teaching method is good if you have any doubt you can ask and if you want to ask any doubt personally you can go to their cabin, they will be happy to help us. They have a well structured cirriculum which you can find on the college site. About exams each semester there will be a mid-term examination and endsem exam and some wightage will be there for internal evaluation which professors will discuss during course introduction. about the level of exams , with good practice of previous year questions and concepts discussed in class you can pass the exam.

I chose this course because I have an interest in automobile engineering and metallurgy with new inventions and goals in them. Almost all the head faculties have Ph. D.s done that is everyone you hear will start with Dr. The faculty are quite good at explaining things and lecturing about its future, the one thing which I don't like is there will be more board writing than creative visualization which brings more attention and interest that the conventional board teachings. our college has one mid-term exam and one end-semester exam for one semester which will be like 3rd month for mids and the last month for end exams. the exams are quite good in terms of toughness and corrections are very strict. even the examinations are quite strictly conducted.

I chose Mechanical because many laboratories are there in the Coimbatore campus of Amrita. The lecturers also have lots of experience. So clearly I can say that I can gain practical knowledge as well as theoretical.

I always had an interest in mechanical as I really enjoyed learning physics in 11th and 12th grade, and noticed that mechanical engineering had more to do with it. The faculty-student ratio is around 1:100. The minimum requirement of the faculty is to have a Ph.D. and publish research papers, with good faculty. The teaching method is either by board smart board or a lab. The term exams are conducted once every half semester.

I've chosen mechanical engineering cause this is the subject of my interest. I'm not certain about the faculty and student ratio. The faculty is well qualified with almost everybody availing PhD in their respective courses. The teaching methods are proper too, they only speak in English since students hail from different parts of the country and they use PPTs to help students understand the concept much better. The semester usually is halved with two term exams namely midterm and end semester but sometimes it is also made into three halves having three term exams.

I have Taken Mechanical Engineering, and I have a Big Interest in Various Courses in Mechanical Engineering, My University Has Very Qualified Teachers, they all are very Hard Working and supportive, my Branch has a very less no. Of Students on the whole, But the faculties show their Good interest towards Our Branch, Exam Patterns are like we have 2 Periodic Test and 3-4 Quizzes happen in Between end semester and Final Semester Exam, Grading And Marking System is Quite Hard, But Passing The Exam is Quite Simple.

I choose automation and robotics engineering in the mechanics department because this stream was new in Amritapuri, Kollam. And it has more benefits than the ongoing computer science and artificial intelligence stream. Even though both have their own benefits. Term exams were between 4 months. One sem takes 4-5 months to complete. The faculties all are very good, interactive, and speak in English as well as native languages for certain students.
I chose Mechanical Engineering since I like Mathematics and Physics. There were 140 students with around 20 faculties in total for the mechanical Department The faculties are highly qualified and are well equipped academically and mentally to support you in all situations There were term exams every 2months and the third exam is considered the final exam which is conducted once every semester If you follow the classes regularly and consistently you can pass with flying colours
