SNU's fouc on holistic development: they go beyond academics by strongly encouraging extracurricular activities
The campus and the people are great as they provide a sense of comfort specially for those who experience the residential life for the first time

Dislikes

A lot of construction taking place (it is a new university in its development phase so temporarily it feels like there's a lot going on)
The location is a big factor for some people and the university is placed in a inconvenient location as there is not much around it

Placement Experience:

You can apply for placements from 4th year. The average placement is for 12L and the Highest last year was 58L. These are few companies that come for placements: Amazon, Adobe, HCL, Deloitte, Cognizant, DELL, IBM, Infosys, Bank of America, L&T and many more. Around 95% students get a placement. I plan on pursuing MBA

The Shiv Nadar University-Worth it?

The faculty is actually top class, the Institute actually give a lot of preference and priority to the professional professor.

Not gonna lie its actually kinda tough to make into this collage.
Very strict poliy regarding attendance (75%)

Internships Opportunities:

We, btech students have to do an internship in the 3 rd year. I haven't done it yet so I don't any major idea on it but yea we get a stilened internship in some good company and make a final year project in the 4th year. I saw my seniors make big drones and many electrical equipments like metal claw and a lot of things so there's a lot of scope to get in touch with your frnds and make something fascinating.

SNU REIEW

The things that I Liked about the college were ambience, focus on studies etc.

Companies like Mckinsey,Bain and ZS comes for internship opporutnities. They come for various roles like IT roles, Analyst roles and Marketing roles. The stipend offered also ranges from various ranges to 5 LPA to 15 LPA.

the lush green campus and diversity over there.
exposure to different culture and friends.

the hot summer during the month of april.
there is no mall or nothing near the campus.

Mostly there are SDE or SE interns in top MNCs like Goldman Sachs, Dell, adobe, and startup companies. They will work on either the database part or the code part on enhancing the work they do. so it is good.

Review of Shiv Nadar University

Faculty of the college is very good and they set good quality paper.
Campus is very beautiful and there are greenery everywhere.

Fees is too high, not everyone can afford it.
Connectivity of the college is not good and cabs are also expensive.

Students are given internships from the second year onward. Startups come to campus and recruit students in the summer break and give spend accordingly. Students also apply for some off-campus internships.

I liked the atmosphere of the library the most,
then I liked the sports facility at Shiv Nadar University

I disliked the food quality served at times
I also disliked the location of the university

OCJ on-campus Jobs are available throughout the year. In my class, there is a lot of scope for research work. The facility of very expensive instruments and machines makes this university ab university of eminence

Internship Opportunities at SNU

Hostel facilities are very good and well maintained
Research facilities are just amazing, and prof are well qualified

Fests and events are too frequent here at campus
Campus is 40kmz away from Delhi, so yea its out

CDC works to find good opportunities for students for internships. Various Tech/Core/Consultancy companies come to SNU and they shortlist students as per their need. Nearly all students manage to get good sponsorship.

The campus life is very vibrant and there is always something or the other going on in campus for students to blow off their steam.
There are a lot of opportunities provided by the university. There is an Atal Incubation centre that helps incubate start up ideas. The CDC helps students irrespective of their year of study find internships

The exams and assignments become overwhelming the frequency with which its held
The campus is in the middle of nowhere so going to delhi is about a 2 hr drive

A few of the companies that came this year with internship and job opportunities are: Bain and Company, American Express, JP Morgan, Delloite, Morgan Stanley, PwC, HCL, Infosys. The highest package someone got till now was around 70 LPA. The CDC also helps freshers land internships in the top 4s or the startups the SNU AIC is working with.

Campus life, Library, Sports facilities and diversity.
Option to pursue a minor degree along with your major

Less spots to gather and have a chat with your friends
Too much academic pressure on engineering students

Internship opportunities with my college are pretty decent with roles ranging from Data analyst, Software engineer intern to advisor or Consultant. OCJs also help students build their resumes and gain experience working on campus.

Navigating campus life: A review of my college - Shiv Nadar University

Campus life - Campus life is happening and it feels good to wake up every morning and looking forward to a good day ahead.
Faculty and placements - CSE faculty is highly qualified and very professional. Average placement is 12 lpa.

Very few good food restaurants at the campus.

I will become eligible for campus placements from the 5th semester onward. Tons of good companies visit our campus every year. To name a few, we have Amazon, Amex, Dell, Goldmann Sachs, HP, etc. The highest package this year is about 55 lpa and the average package is 12 LPA and the median is 11 LPA. I guess over 90% of students got placed. I am hoping to get a good placement after getting the degree.
