MBA and PGDM Scholarship: Under this scholarship, NIET provides a fee concession of INR 25,000 to the MBA and PGDM students who have secured a certain percentile in MAT/CAT/CMAT and performed well in the interview. The scholarship amount is adjusted with the 4th installment of the fees. The scholarship is also available for girl students who have scored 60% or above in 10th, 12th and graduation.
State Government Scholarship: Under this scholarship, NIET provides a fee waiver to the students who belong to the economically weaker sections of the society and have a domicile of Uttar Pradesh. The scholarship is applicable for B.Tech, M.Tech, MCA, MBA and PGDM courses. The students have to submit their income certificate and caste certificate along with the application form. The scholarship amount varies according to the category and course of the students.
AICTE Scholarship: Under this scholarship, NIET provides financial assistance to students who are admitted under the lateral entry scheme in B.Tech and MCA courses. The scholarship is sponsored by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and is applicable for students who have a family income of less than INR 2.5 lakhs per annum. The students have to submit their income certificate and mark sheets along with the application form. The scholarship amount is INR 50,000 per annum.
Bihar Credit Card Scheme for Higher Education: Under this scheme, NIET provides a loan facility to students who belong to Bihar and are pursuing higher education. The scheme is sponsored by the Bihar government and is applicable for B.Tech, M.Tech, MCA, MBA and PGDM courses. The students have to submit their domicile certificate and Aadhaar card along with the application form. The loan amount is up to INR 4 lakhs with a nominal interest rate.

The college life in NIET

The availability of faculty members at any point of the college hours. The faculty members are ready to give their full help and support to the students at any day and time.
Availability of a large quantity of different books whether it be course- related or not. The library contains a large variety of books which are available to be accessed by any student.

Dislikes

The unavailability of labs and library after college hours. The computer labs can only be in access during the college hours. Same goes with the library.
No constant programming classes for any batch. The work is held for a very few days (mostly 10-15) per semester which isn't enough to be able to learn any language. 100% attendance is mandatory during workshop or a fine of 1000/day is be given.

Admission:

I did apply for many other colleges in the counselling process like galgotias,etc. The reason i didn't get admitted in those college is my low percentile in JEE Mains exams. I choose NIET because I got IT branch in this college which is a core branch and these days the demand for IT professianls is also alot. Other then that i reson i choose IT is beauce i can see myself growing in this industry. The admission process for the college was not a very good experience for me. First for ll i was really sick during the time of counselling. Other reason might be the managemnt during the physical reporting for the college. There was alot of crowd during the two days of physical reporting and the staff and management team was less.

I liked the sense of security in college. You don't get ragging in my college.

Dislikes

No fest or major events are conducted. They only have small events.
They have totaly separated first year students from other year by conducting first year classes in other building.

Admission:

I took admission in this college seeing their decent placement. As for good colleges , I didn't have enough marks. Niet accept jee mains score for admission via aktu counselling. You can also take direct admission here via some process on vacant seat or mangement quota.

The teacher in niet greater noida are really nice and supportive specially for 1st year students. Mostly teachers are female in my branch
NIET is very strict college so you can not bunk classes easily. And if you have a good attendance you will appreciated by the college

Dislikes

There are many things that I dislike about NIET. First thing is the infrastructure which is very old and not maintained. Hostel room are dirty and unhigenic. Bathrooms and washroom are dirty. Campus is too small, smaller than my school
Second thing is wifi in hostel which is just disgusting. There's limit in wifi, I can't even imagine who put limit in wifi.

Admission:

I have given jee mains exam but I didn't qualified with good rank. So I choose niet It's a autonomous college so I think it is better than other colleges In greater Noida. You can get addmission in niet by your jee mains rank through aktu councelling and also by management quota.

i liked the crowd that my branch have,very friendly in nature
i liked the teachers, as they are very supportive,good at academics aur also some times crack jokes hehe

there is no saturday off, i am so jealous of other college's students
there is not ac in all classrooms, it is deveoping ,maybe in future they will use ac in all classes

Admission:

it was the best collge i was getting at my jee amins rank it does have location advantage as it is in greater noida as it is autonomous college , that is also a plus point admission is very simple counsling through uptac and also direct admission by paying donation

I like the teaching staff they are highly educated.
College offers various clubs in which I can take part.

Dislikes

The campus overall is ok but the size is little small.

Admission:

I took admission into this college because it's autonomous so this college updates its course from time to time and teach you the latest syllabus. Admission process was very simple I gave the my previous education certificate and paid them the registration fees they took some time to process my application and finally gave me offer letter then I paid the fees and my classes started.

First year faculties was good and many are phd holders
Girls to boys ratio is almost decent to good.

Dislikes

There is no big fests and no any big celebrities come.
Campus is small and first years are keep seprated in a school like environment.

Admission:

I also applies for ims ghaziabd and gniot in greater noids self. But i choose niet over these colleges bcoz niet has better placement records over them also the main thing is that niet is the first private Institute of UP to get autonomus status.

College is autonomous which gives a extra advantage which includes in college semester exam. The syllabus is also designed by the college according to industry needs.
College has smart classroom which includes smart boards, cctv. The faculties of the department are highly skilled.

Dislikes

Campus area is very small. Infrastructure is not pretty much good.
There is less feast in the college because of small campus area.

Admission:

The admission process of college is very easy. There are two ways 1.Counseling 2.Direct Admission. There are some seats which are allocated for the direct admission. Another method of admission is through AKTU counselling which done after the JEE MAINS result comes. My main reason for choosing this college is it autonomous. College also provides decent placement.

Ya I liked the infa of my college.. yup my college have two campus one campus is only for first year student and the second is only for 2-3-4 year student.. so yaa my college have a good reputation in all over india

My college campus was not good and classroom haven't ac.. so and my college didn't arrange a fest event etc only study study..

Admission:

I choose this college because this college have a great management to other it companies and here placement cell was also good and here Noida have it hub so there is a lot of options to get a job very easily

No doubt this college give you environment to achieve success. Along with that social interaction is very good as NIET clubs are very active.
NIET has good quality of faculties. They are very supportive and few have industry experience too.

Dislikes

They have another campus for 1st year student. So for the 1st year it is very hard to interact with seniors.
There are some unnecessary subjects in 1st year like COI (Constitution of India).

Admission:

There were many college which was offering me CSE core. But I choose to take admission here as it is an autonomous institution it has its own updated syllabus and everything. Admission process, there are 2 ways to take admission. 1st one is through UPTAC/AKTU counselling. 2nd one is direct admission, which they give on your previous academic score like 12th boards. They take 85% admission through counselling and rest 15% from merit based direct admission

there is no uniform policy as certain colleges here in greater noida has specific dress code.

Dislikes

mandatory 75 percent attendance criteria.
college can debarred you from examinations if the attendance is short

Admission:

i chose this college because i had no other options. i would choose different college near my city if i have the chance to do it. NIET is autonomous bit it is still under the administration of AKTU. I would advice other to choose college near their cities

It's difficult to say whether it matters or not because it is totally up to the college administration. When your first-year classes begin, they will ask you for the assignment and require you to submit it before the deadline.
