  • The food served in the dining hall which has to be paid for at the beginning of the semester is very bad in taste.
  • If I'm late for a class and I catch a bus, I'll have to walk a lot to reach the academic blocks

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course is just as good as any economics finance course in some other great university situated probably outside of India. The academic curriculum is actually good and not at all similar to government universities.

Internships Opportunities :

There is SSI for people studying bachelor of management studies. This program offers a internship from college to all students in the 3rd year of this program. Some are paid and some are not but this is not it. All students are required to either do anything internship or write a thesis in their last semester to complete their credits and graduate.

Placement Experience :

3rd year students are eligible for campus placement and the placements are great I suppose. At least 50 percent of every batch is able to secure a placement and many of the students here don't apply for placements and go out for their masters. I wouldn't recommend this university for a master's degree or a PhD.

Fees and Financial Aid :

The annual fee for my course is five Lacs thirty four thousand and ten rupees. This includes a a hostel fee of 75000 per semester, laundary charges 2205 per semester, mess fee of 24500 each semester and finally tuition fee of 150000 each semester. There were very few other hidden charges that we had to pay. They have been increasing the fee every year after that for all the new batches but I have been paying the same fee as I was paying before and if it has increased it is only because I opted for a more expensive room than the one I had in my first year. There is a few difference in AC single room and AC double bed room as double bed has two students and the AC in that room has to be recharged on your own where else single room AC fee is already included in the hostel fee.

Campus Life :

There are majorly two events along with several other small events occurring throughout the year. First one is surge which is a sports event inviting all other universities for a healthy competition of almost every sport including E sports as well. Facilities provided in the classroom are almost as good as it cab be. The seats in the classroom could be more comfortable but they are still very good. We have a 2 floor library which consists of all the books that we require and always have sufficient number of them available to us. All the clubs are student run and there are a lot of them. Each year every club does their own events which is a good concept.

Hostel Facilities :

The hostel is moderately priced at 75000 per semester for a single AC room. The AC are environment friendly as they run on water and cool the room good enough. The mess meals aren't very good and could be better but they are much better than universities in this price range.

Admission :

I chose this college only because of its infrastructure, faculty and as it was close to my home in gurgaon compared to the other colleges I applied to. One other university was near my home christ ghaziabad but they didn't really have a campus and the infrastructure was also pretty old, I think Iade a good choice by coming here. The entrance exam was also not very tough and for my course particularly we didn't have a personal interview as well.

Faculty :

The college faculty is pretty decent and all from great Universities. Many of them live on campus so they can take extra classes anytime and teach us however they want. We have just two major exams every semester other than that the quizzes and assignments depend on the professor of they want to take class tests or give us assignments it's their choice.

Night Life :

Nightlife is pretty great as we can step out of our hostels anytime we want and roam around campus safely. A lot of food shops are open at night and the college also provides us with a midnight meal every day that is if we want to go and eat.

Other Applied Colleges

Christ University | Bachelor of Business Administration [BBA] (Finance and International Business)

After seeing Shiv Nadar University and the huge campus we have over here I didn't want to go to any other place, except for that the faculty here is much better and the guidelines and safety rules are good enough for us to enjoy our college life but also

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum, goal, vision, syllabus etc. Are really good, infact its too good that student will not pass or comprehent everything simply. Looking at the real world application of my course, it's everywhere. The only improvement they can make is just shorten it a bit. But everything's important so I kno it ain't possible. Timing of exams and stuff are propper.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The exams here were not very difficult. Every year an annual exam was conducted here. Preparations were made before every exam. I had decided to do B.Sc in Mathematics, which was partly for me, I had taken this decision for the future competitive exams which are conducted by the government, I had taken this decision because after B.Sc, you do not get any good placements later, you can apply for which a bachelor's degree is required.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The various topics that were covered in the Masters program attracted me the most to choose Forensic Science. The curriculum included theoretical knowledge of all the subjects, which were applicable in real world or cases as well. My college can improve themselves in practicals, as practical knowledge is evenly important as the theoretical knowledge. The frequency of exams were good according to me, it gave me the time to prepare properly.
