So the faculties to students ratio is pretty decent because each class has a suitable number of students that a faculty teaches making it better for both students (who can have better discussions and interactions) and faculty (for whom it's easier to understand students and provide assistance to them individually) The faculties credentials are brilliant. Majority of them hold a PhD from reputable universities in India and abroad. All facilities meet the expectations of SNU being research-oriented as they not only have lectures but projects, hands on activities for the lectures and discussions. During classes you can ofcourse meet with the professor but SNU also has dedicated 'office hours' allowing students to meet with the professor during those hours for any doubts or discussions.

So there's two things, first there are around 105 students in my class and theres 1 proffesor( for one subject) and at least 3TA , they divde the class in grp of 3 and the TA take on doubts and solve questions in there class while there can be 2 proffesor for a specific subject if there are a lot of students. Faculty are well trained and they belong mostly from iits ans isers, and are actually good teachers. Approaching proffesor and TA is actually easy and 99% of time they respond then and there only.
All the faculty members there have done PHDs in their respective fields. They are very practical and encourages us to explore and experience different experiments. Faculty in our college do follow the curriculum but they go out of their league to teach the students the maximum they could. Teaching is not all about mugging up things but also includes a lot of on-hand experiences through live projects and continuous evaluation for further academic and overall development.
The faculty is overall just fine. Some of the faculty members are really very experienced, and while some are fresh PhD holders,in their respective streams. The faculty is always willing to help,as far as their knowledge permits.
