I chose this course in this Institute because of the package and the opportunities a person can get in any IIT. Teaching faculty is about 350 whereas total no. of students are about 6000. Term exams are in every 2 months gap . It is not so very hard to pass .

Basically I chose this course because of the package . The student ration in my class is good it is around 20 percent. The faculty members are awesome their teaching method is a bit casual the exams surprised me the most we just studied one day before the exams and they went well( only if you attend the the classes regularly).

The placements at IIT BHU are usually quite good. Companies from various sectors visit the campus offering diverse job opportunities. Students often secure placements in renowned companies with competitive salary packages. In case there are no campus placements, which is less likely for IITs, students still have excellent employability prospects. The strong academic curriculum, practical exposure, and the reputation of an IIT degree ensure graduates are sought after in the job market. They can explore opportunities through off-campus placements, internships, or networking to secure positions in top companies or pursue higher studies both in India and abroad. Additionally, students might opt for entrepreneurship, start-ups, research, or further studies like pursuing master's degrees or doctoral programs to specialize in their field of interest. The flexibility and quality of education at IIT BHU open up various avenues for students after completing their courses.

Placement is good here with the highest package 1.5 crores per year and the average package is 40 lacs per year. A company like Microsoft, Google, JP Morgan, uber, zomato, and amazon offers job. I also got my internship opportunity from Disney plus Hotstar for software engineer role
Overall its good. I think its underrated its quite good here. good infrastucture good academics good students although some flaws are there that is its an open campus poor teaching faculty and no waste management but its quite good
Nice college. Since we can easily score marks as well as live a life of satisfactory and happiness with interest to do whatever we want. Also there is good placements and job offers that come in the college
College is very well upto its reputation with strong alumni network, alongwith extra curricular activities going throughout the year ensuring overall development of student. Rather than focusing only on academics. Social life is very well experienced here alongwith focusing on career.
My review of IIT BHU will be based on some very common parameters.
Overall, IIT BHU is a great choice if you are willing to sacrifice the hostel conditions and self-study.
My friend was a student at IIT BHU and he witnessed a number of changes as the IT BHU got converted into IIT BHU.
These were some of the changes my friend witnessed after the IT BHU got transformed into IIT BHU.
My friend is an alumnus of IIT-BHU and he was a member of the Kashi Utkarsh too. He claims the organization is doing really well in eradicating the prevalent social constraints through the collective efforts of the group. The body convinces the financially weak families living in Varanasi slums to send their children to schools with the help of KU funding.
As easy as this may sound, the actual process is very tiring. The families are hell-bent against education and persuading them is a big task. The relentless efforts of the team members of KU and their compassion to serve the weak have brought massive changes in society.
However, some students of the institute don’t give KU the respect they deserve and are not ready to spend a single penny claiming that KU pockets the funds themselves.
If you visit the social media handles of the KU members, you will find a list of children who get into the formal education system along with their school fees being paid by KU. Dictionary the constant assistance from professors like Prof. Ashim Mukherjee with KU helps KU stay strong.
