IIT (BHU) has begun the placement drive with a maximum package of INR 1.68 crore offered to a student. Over 230 companies participated, with over 1,700 registered students in the 10-day drive until December 10, 2023. Check details below.

New Delhi: The IIT BHU Placement Drive commenced on December 1 for a 10-day duration. The highest package offered reached INR 1.68 crore along with a total of 230 companies actively participating in the ongoing placement drive, scheduled to continue until December 10, 2023. 1,700 students have registered for the IIT BHU placement drive.

According to the spokesperson from IIT BHU, the initial day of the placement drive recorded 465 students securing placements, with 307 pre-placement offers extended to final-year students. The lowest package stood at INR 12.5 lakh. Additionally, the first day witnessed 353 paid internship offers granted to pre-final year students.

Some of the prominent recruiters were Uber, Goldman Sachs, Google, HUL, Microsoft, AQR Capital, JPMC, Oracle, Amazon, Flipkart, Samsung, Jaguar Land Rover, BPCL, TATA Projects, and more.

This year, the institution experienced an increase in the number of participating companies. In the previous year, 192 companies worldwide participated in the IIT-BHU placement drive, resulting in a total of 335 offers made to students on the inaugural day.
