The curriculum is set and maintained by Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi. Therefore, the curriculum is up to the mark. However, on comparison with other universities, it may be found that it is quite outdated and doesn't provide much exposure, and it is even faltering at research exposure. The exams aren't very difficult, but in my opinion, unnecessarily frequent, occurring almost every month. I would suggest the teachers try to teach like they mean it.

The course curriculum is good. The syllabus is designed to cover almost all the necessary topics. The exams are having medium difficulty level. The exams are taken semesterwise. Practicals are also there. The curriculum is good if you want to go for PhD.

Course curriculum is so much relevant and practical. It increased my curiosity and interest to study psychology. I was not sure about opting psychology in future but now I'm thinking about doing research in the field. They just need to improve their practical and lab facilities. Exams are conducted on the frequent basis like mid terms and semester exams.

There are around 22-25 faculty members in the department and around 64-70 students in class The faculty consists of teaching assistants, assistant professors, associate professors and professors. Some retired professors are also there. The teaching methods used by most professors are lectures and discussions. The internals were held in the middle of the semesters and the final exams were held in the end. The exams were fairly easy and it is easy to score if you have read basic notes provided properly.

I am interested in the psychology field mainly clinical psychology that's why, I opt for this course. The faculty is good. But some teachers teach only for completing their time in class. There is an IIT professor in our college and she is a very good teacher.
I like the course so I choose it, and the teacher is also very helpful and cooperative, the student's ratio in class are 30 students, and exam are taken timely and exam are taken in department and teacher are all well qualified
I did my Bachelor's degree in Psychology (H). As someone residing in Varanasi, BHU seems to be the best option as it is Internationally renowned University. So, I chose this course because it is one of the best suitable for me. The faculty to students ration is 1:8 and the faculty members are one of the best in their field, few of them being gold medalists and researches with high H index. The theoretical aspects that they teach is simple and easy to get, one can become a specialists in Statistics, every student is been attended to and made sure they're getting what is been taught. The teaching method is a mix of old school + modern ways by showing PPT etc. Lectures are really beneficial to pass the exams with flying colours. External exams were being scheduled on time and notified prior, Internals dates can vary depending upon the situation. Exams are easy to pass if one has attended the lectures, read notes and paid attention to past question papers.
The syllabus is old fashioned and not updated at all. There is no exposure as such. And no field visits are done so far. Just the teachers are learned and are very helpful but other than that it's nothing extraordinary.
