I chose BA Hons because i had interest in civil services and also choosing a central university will make things much easy for me. And also i had this dream to study in BHU so i choose to graduate from here. I wanted an exposure so basically this place is the best for me. We have a number of clubs to enhance skills. I joined the rhetorica debating society of bhu to basically get an exposure and build confidence in me. I dont think so there are any drawbacks about teaching there. The professors use smart board and prepare their own ppts to teach students and they are so excellent and intellectual. There are several activities that keep students engaged and enhance their skills.

The curriculum was designed beautiful. As first two year three core paper and one language paper...and in the last year among those three core paper you have to choose one paper as your honours. Therefore, they design furst two year as introductory course in all the core paper just to introduce you to the paper. But in the last year they cover the wide range of tooic in the specific subject. They cover all most all thr dimension of the subject. The always keep mind of contemporary literature wich one can opt as elective paper as naming New literature.

There is very less fee for course in the highly ranked central university. You can get better thinking about the things and the level of knowledge will be much better. You would be able to understand the things more accurately. you'll get enough time for exam ig 6 months for a semester which is enough.

I opt. for BA honours in political Science as I am preparing for Civil Service Examinations so this course is helping me a lot in my journey. My HOD is also guinding me and a lot of other students in our journey. Other faculty members are equally good always ready to help you. I even consulted my HOD for the stratigies I should follow that might help me cracking the civil service exam and He helped me through it, always suggesting ways that might help me in my journey. You can even see your semester exam as Mains paper and practice answer writing, if you are also preparing for UPSC and my cousre syllabus even covers a part of syllabus of prelims and mains both which agains gives me an edge.
