The placement in the noncore sector is more. The rate of placement is higher. There are lots of IT firms that come for placement. Those who don't get placed try for off-campus placement and get good jobs.
The placements are very good. The college is going to bring you companies and students have to do well to get accepted. Companies all over India come to recruit students. almost 90% of students get placed and are happy.
The placement is top-notch. They make sure every student is placed in a company and they have classes for pre-placement trainings from 6th semester.If you work for it you will get it.The college brings in companies and you need to work for it.
Placement in the institution is very nice , big tech companies like Microsoft , Dell etc are invited for on campus placement and alot of students are able to get job from college itself from all the branches
MBA is a corporate field where I can improve my interpersonal skills to compete with various business segments and manage myself as a responsible human being. faculties are so supportive and always motivating us for a future leadership role. The teaching method is so good where they are using various terms to teach like a projector and digital lab room.
The placements are also good considering the number of companies that visit the campus and them taking in a lot of young students. The average package is about 6 LPA and the highest package that was achieved recently was around 30 LPA.
Campus placement is quite good with an average of almost 93% of students getting placed every year. The highest 23 lpa package is offered an average of 6lpa. Many big recruiters come like Microsoft, Dell, wipro, Infosys etc.
Campus placement is mainly focused for students of third and fourth year students with the connection of many companies and studemts are selected euth the cgpa cutoff in the first round of selection and according to the policies of hiring companies.i am planning for further studies.
The college has a very good record of placement in non-core branches, almost everyone who got placed has an average package of 4.5 LPA. College is trying to bring more core companies to college for the core branch students. I am planning to pursue my study further, doing M.Tech.
I choose this college beacuse i got it through quota seat,faculties of our department are so much helpful and caring and provide us with all the acedamic facilities they could,teachers are of masters and phd level ,it is not that tough to pass in our college because we have monthly quizes and sessionals which helps us to score a very good marks in internals and for externals teachers prepare us in such a way that we can score avery good percentage.
I have a few friends from Sikkim Manipal University and according to them, it is not a great place for innovative ideas and opportunities. It is a good option if you just want a degree. Here are some of the perks of joining the institute.
Overall SMIT is not a bad option for distance learning.
