i did not apply to a lot of colleges other than srishti. i had applied to three other colleges, isdi, woxen, symbiosis. i got into both isdi and woxen and was waitlisted at symbiosis. my first preference was srishti and therefore the choice was very simple to make. due to covid the entrance test was online. we were asked to go through some material before the exam and told that we would be asked questions about that context in the exam. we were given almost the entire day for the paper; from morning to afternoon we were allowed to work on it how ever we saw fit. UCEED scores were also taken into consideration. The entrance test was very different from the others and i felt that it reflected a design process and assessed what a designer needs more accurately than other exams. i enjoyed the test itself and did not feel like i was being asked about things i didn't have knowledge about.

The admission process is smooth as long as you pay close attention to the instructions. An entrance exam or your uceed rank is the key deciding factor. Keep in mind one will be competing with applicants from all over the country.
The admission process was simple, you go through the website, you can choose multiple courses. Once the results are out, you choose which course you want to go with. I would suggest brushing up your skills before the entrance test, not to take it lightly, isn't as easy as the rest of the colleges that at least I applied to. There was no portfolio review or interview because it was online, so the test was the only way to score a seat. The application form, fees, and all are on the website itself, everything you need, the faculty profiles, the courses, academic calendar, about the campus, amenities, and the student housing.
Good staff members. Teaching also good. I prefer others to join because it was a small college but it encourages students to come up with their dreams.
The course is very dynamic and keeps itself up to date and changes every year. It does provide a little industrial exposure as the projects and assignments are very similar to what designers do in firms. Some Faculties are good, some are extremely new to the system so they don't know what they are doing.
my classes have not started as yet, but I assume that the course syllabus would be amazing. I have heard wonderful things about the faculty as well. The academic program in Srishti is unmatched as we get to try our hand at everything in the first year and then choose our specialisations.
The courses at srishti are very hands on, they provide good opportunities to students to get exposure. They have many events for students. Faculty is great and very helpful. They have a lot of experience in the design field.
The curriculum was very industry specific. it was all abut design. The history of design, types of design, different genres etc. We were never spoon fed of taught anything in Srishti it was just about facilitating. You do your own research, form your own concepts based on the course selected and make a project out of it with a lot of help from the faculty. This helped in a major way to learn how to do things yourself which helped in our professional growth.
The duration of the course is four years and the foundation year introduces students with the basic process, tools, principles, methods of art/design and technology.A compulsory program is also there which includes the science, humanities, public studies ( along with languages such as French, Spanish, English, Hindi, German etc. The project work involves working on synthesis and demonstration of art designs. We are made familiar to understand the strategies so that we can explore, interrelate and collaborate with the different industries and learners.
Duration of the course is three years divided into six semesters. The curriculum is industry & work based. The subjects include material construction & techniques, history of interior design, technical drawing, CAD, research methodology, 3-D visualizations, retail design & display, planning & decor, spaced layout & design etc. The main task for us is to make any establishment look beautiful and attractive and offer utility items.
