Admission process is via NEET UG. And NEET counselling. One needs to be elligible in NEET ug to participate in counselling. And through choice filling you can opt for MCODS Mangalore. Once the seat has been alloted, the student will be called by the college and the admission criteria after that is pretty simple. And the colleg staffs will guide you in this.
It's updated. I'm in first year only so don't know the exposure. Faculty is good and understanding. They will definitely help you for whatever. We have something called as a teacher guardian where the teacher helps students under him or her
It fills up all the possible lacunae. The academic faculties are state of the art.The curriculum is rigorous, challenging and up-to-date.Recent advances in dentistry like cbct, implants, rotary Endodonctics are sensitised at an undergraduate level, unlike any other college.Needless to mention that half of the books we follow here at mcods are written by our in house faculties from mcods and kmc, that speeks a lot about the kind of experience and knowledge they have on their subjects.
Are course is upto the mark with Dental council of India. And if DCI facilitates any change in curriculum then our college makes the changes asap. Some of our teachers are very friendly and supportive but for the first years its difficult to access them because first years live in different campus than other students.
Its always updated. Yes they start clinics in 3rd year itself and give exposure to various types of clinical aspects. Faculties are the best they always bring the best out of students. All faculties are exceptional. They are well versed in their subjects. They always help students in their research work.
The management of the college is without a doubt the best. The actions on any issue are taken almost immediately
The college is ranked number 1 in india, so obviously it'll have various positives like teaching, faculty, infrastructure, hostels, etc. Any negative thing could be that there's should be a common room for students for extra curricular activity practice. Apart from that, I love the college
I can't find anything bad about the college...Plus in every situation you will have your own good and bad experiences..but rest assured, you will sail smoothly..everyone will be there to help you...manipal is ready to welcome you...you will have a good time here...its like living in a different world...a new family..
Job opportunities after studying in manipal university are so huge.
Internship takes place after 4th year in the college itself where students are paid a stipend.
