My admission and life at SMIT

The college has a relatively good infrastructure. Spacious classrooms and labs, a library complex with a separate reading hall.
A very healthy competitive environment among students that's subtle but always present.

Dislikes

College Fest is not what exactly how I had heard about.

Campus Life:

Experience here at SMIT can be a very different one for people coming from urban areas but with time the calm and rather silent environment starts making impressions that last for a long time if not lifetime. The surrounding area is fairly urbanized and one may find some pubs and bars around. There are decent restaurants and hang out venues. There are ample number of getaways, the college is in Sikkim - you'll always have places to explore. As far as student clubs are concerned, they're as mediocre as they can be in a place filled late teenagers and early 20s people.

The environment is very nice away from the city and everywhere tree planted.There no noice of vehicles.
Many programs/event are held frequently such as Karla,etc.

Campus Life:

The experience is good, it really feels like we are in college. Everything is provided in the college like a swimming pool, gym, library, etc. There are parks where students can sit in the off periods and just chill. The library is good, with good stocks of books.

Dislikes

Baisness of the non local teachers towards non local students highly effects our marks. It is the only minus point of the system

Campus Life:

All the festivals held in India are celebrated in the evening after college. Every kind of labs are present. All the sports faculties are available and gym as well. Various clubs are also present and every year A mega function is help Known as Kaalrav.

SMU offers a range of undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs in various fields like engineering, medicine, management
The university attracts students from different parts of India and abroad, fostering a culturally diverse and inclusive environment.

Dislikes

Compared to larger universities, SMU offers a narrower range of courses and specializations within the Humanities and Social Sciences department
Even though the institued is situated in a scenic location but very close to road area which isnt helpful during class hour.

Campus Life:

My journey in Manipal was somewhat amusing. Having been studying in missionary schools and college was the inly thing I'd ever experienced. I'd thought even thoigh its a private institution but would be different from missionaries institutions which is not totally true. Organising events to focusing on social aspects, club involvement, and the infrastructure provided everything is nice. But it would be better if the students are exposed to clubs for the students to learn about it and even join .

Mostly I like the nature , weather of the area and the campus
I love the Mountains, Rivers, and the weather of the college

Dislikes

I didn't like some faculty member like some teachers
I doesn't like the some rules of the college like 75% Attendance

My college experience is very good because everything is good in our college like study and our college give use many facilities like gym, swimming, sports, playground, and many other facilities so overall experience is very good

The environment for studies is very good as it is covered with mountains and helps one to concentrate in studies.
Third thing which I liked was the environment surrounding the college which makes studying more concentrating.

Dislikes

The campus is a bit small and have a few shops inside it.
For any important needs one needs to get out of the campus which is again a bit far.

Campus Life:

Campus life is very interesting as there are regular fests and events organized in the college. There is a central library in the college which offers a large variety of books and journals inside the library. Facilities inside the classrooms are also good. Smart boards are present with HDMI cables and a MIC and speaker. Extracurricular activities are also promoted in the college such as sports events, various competitions and different clubs which make life at SMIT a very interesting life.

The best experience is that this college provide practical projects in any field

Dislike is the they did not help in finding internship
The placement is not more than that every year

Many of the fest doing in this college the biggest fest of our college is kaalrav, tedX, Athena, Tech ADRISHTA Yes all the books available in library All sports and extra curriculum is provide by the college it is best thing of college Many student run clubs , groups

Great location covered with mountains and river
infrastructure wise very good with neat and clean campus

Dislikes

food quality was very bad they attract new student with best food and after admission the quality goes down
many teachers are not well trained with there regarding subjects

Campus Life:

campus life was extremely good with the best scene u can have mountains river and near to gangtok library have all the books available regarding to course and anyother extra activities are football, basketball, badminton and cricket with swimimmg pool and gym attached

Hangout with friend .Learn new things about application software. The teachers there were very nice and helpful with our dought when it's come to asking about our Questions..

Dislikes

Toilet problem and even the surround is near market so it's difficult for us to learn.
There no canteen around the campus we have to bring our own food.

Campus Life:

From my point of view I see that the campus it's to small and also need a big space to improve. And also many computer should be repaired so that it will be sufficient to all the students to use at the same time. There is one this I forgot to mention there is no library do improve with that also. There no club or group will impact students life.
