During the final years of graduation, the college attracts good companies for placements, and students with good scores are offered good internship opportunities.

Dislikes

Internship experience is very bad. There are no companies that come to the college during my course.
The company is visiting our campus because our college does not provide any placements due to the distance from the college.

24 hours electricity and water supplies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Everything is good atleast avarage , some faculty members are nice towards students now days some project based learning is going on and also the 1 year internship program is also applicable here . Timing of exam as usual .

College was good because faculty was super impressive.
Couses are affordable and there was lot of desirable courses and instruments to study with.

Dislikes

There's nothing like campus. You have to study in a limited area.
No campus selections, no placements is all about to de disliked.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I always wanted to work in business organizations that's why I choose BBA and after that iapplied for MBA from government based university DDU. And yes there's some kind of difficulties in examinations because it's all digital. You have to type in and work with computer to fill answers.

I choose this course to improve my knowledge and skills. There are teachers for each subject and some sharing of the syllabus is done. The teachers/ faculties here are all experienced and very well knowledgeable.

Course Curriculum Overview:

MBA HRM is a good start for a career student-faculty ratio is 60:2. Lecturers are well qualified, and subject notes and readers are sent by the University before the commencing of the semester. Exams will be conducted on alternate days. All the topics covered in the textbook can score a good grade.

After participating in function, even if you don't win, receiving the certificate is an expensive thati really appreciate
I enjoy clinical duty a lot because we can learn about various disease conditions and gain valuable knowledge there.

Placement Experience:

Most of students of SMCON are placed in Central referral hospital, sikkim. After completing B. Sc nursing, it is mandatory to work for at least one year for practical experiences. After that, there is a desire to pursue M. Sc.

The faculties, the ambience, the learning atmosphere and the ways you are taught depending upon your caliber and you are free to involve yourself in any extra curriculum activities of your chocie without and coercive measures adopted by the universit
The hostel and the facilities that are provided for the hostellers both boys and girls are really commendable and you get the treatment like home where you do not have any chnace of being homesick or other depression and anxiety issues.

Dislikes

The number of exams and test that are conducted can be hectic sometimes and you feel you do not have time for yourself.

Placement Experience:

The students who are in the final semesters can opt for placement in the campus and if they wish to go for off-campus placement then also they are allowed. The companies that visit the university for placement are usually Dell, Microsoft, HDFC bank, Axis bank, ICICI bank, Sibin Ventures and other pharma companies where they place the students in the position as managers, assistant managers, engineers in different fields like electrical, mechanical, computer etc. The offers usually made range from 3lakhs PA to 15lakhs PA. The highest package received so far is 15 lakhs pa and the average can go from 5-8 lakhs pa. And the profiles they offer are engineers or managers in middle-level positions. The percentage of students getting placed can be 60-70%. After I get the degree I planned to opt for a reputable job and if not then I can continue for further studies and give my time and effort in sharpening my knowledge base.

Ambiance and infrastructure of the college is good and neat & clean.
Library maintained at very good way and available all books which we needed.

Placement Experience:

After the third semester completion, we are eligible for sitting in campus placement. Companies like NextGen, VP enterprise, KRIYO etc. come there for various placements for their companies with very decent packages.

Course Curriculum Overview:

If you are opting for private colleges due to circumstances always chose the CSE branch because it will be best for your future. Faculty: Student ratio is 1:25 to 30 so yes it's great. Each faculty member is greatly qualified and has more than 5 years of teaching experience. Exams are monthly basis and moderately hard but if you read the subject not so hard to pass.

I have a few friends from Sikkim Manipal University and according to them, it is not a great place for innovative ideas and opportunities. It is a good option if you just want a degree. Here are some of the perks of joining the institute.

There are over 15 clubs at SMIT. The club culture is quite good at the institute. If you want you can start your own club too.
It has a great geographic landscape. There are awesome places that you can visit.
It helps in the all-round development of students.

Overall SMIT is not a bad option for distance learning.
