I chose CSE here at SMIT because I come from CSE Background and have attended many events like workshops and Seminars here previously. Plus for me the option to take AI, Cyber security, etc as Minor Specialization was another point that brought me here.

I was very interested in engineering especially in CSE department that's the main reason I choose this course The faculty is upto the mark and the teachers are very supportive and helpful when needed Exams were conducted in time and the difficult level depends on the perticular individual

If you are opting for private colleges due to circumstances always chose the CSE branch because it will be best for your future. Faculty: Student ratio is 1:25 to 30 so yes it's great. Each faculty member is greatly qualified and has more than 5 years of teaching experience. Exams are monthly basis and moderately hard but if you read the subject not so hard to pass.

The course curriculum is updated and industry-ready. The faculty-student ratio is 1:20. All the faculty members are postgraduate or ph.d graduates. Exams are conducted on time and the examination level varies from moderate to difficult.

Faculties are helpful with personal guidance to students, Teacher to student ratio is good. Students are encouraged to participate in many events and research seminars. I chose this course as one of my cousins had already passed out of college and she had informed me about the keen dedication of the faculty there. I myself was very satisfied with the attention of the teachers on the students growth. The faculty of every branch as I've noticed with my interactions with the teachers are very supportive and have loads of knowledge to share. The faculty student ratio is also very balanced at : 2. In my department each teacher has a different style of teaching which they mold according to the students preferances. There are usually 4 tests in each semester excluding the end sem exams, two of them being minor quizes which are pretty easy to pass and the other two are unit tests which we call sessionals and are fairly moderate keeping in mind the classes had been attended regularly and focused on, the case being similar for the end semster exams.

The course I choose was CSE and getting it in a college like this is an achievement of it's own. The faculty to student ratio is about 1:50. They are highly qualified. More than 50% of the faculty have earned their Ph.D. certification and their experience in the field speaks for themselves. As mine was the first batch of online classes, it was very new for the students as well as the teachers but they adjusted it it fairly quickly which resulted to a unique teaching method. The examinations were again held on a platform developed and maintained by the Institute and it just works flawlessly. The layout is very simple yet modern. It gives a positive feeling due to it's colourful background. The examinations are conducted on a regular basis with varying difficulty. But it ensures that a student requires thorough study to get anywhere above 90%.

Exams are taken in various formats in 1 semester there is 2 quiz of 5 marks 2 sessionals of 15 marks and 1 end sem which is 100 marks there is an internal weightage of 50 marks and an external of 50 marks. Assignment and attendance marks are also counted.

Due to the keen interest in coding and the favorable environment of sikkim i was attracted to this course. The ratio was one faculty looking after almost 15-20 students. Faculties opt to explore the new curriculum of the world and help student to learn and cooe up with the course and subject materials. Exams and tese were taken in an interval of every 3-5 weeks.
