Eligibility Criteria
Candidates should have passed the 12th class examination of 10+2 system from a recognized Central or State board or its equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics and adequate proficiency in English.
The candidate should have obtained a minimum of aggregate 75% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects (if he/she has taken Mathematics in BITSAT) or a minimum of aggregate 75% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects (if he/she has taken Biology in BITSAT) in 12th class examination, with at least 60% marks in each of the Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics / Biology subjects.

- I really liked the world class facilities provided
- Admission only based on merit and not reservation

- As the campus is really old, some of the infrastructure needs some improvement as well
- Quality of food provided in mess is sometimes an issue
Fees and Financial Aid:
The fess for 4 years is around 28 lakhs for a 4 year course. The fee increases every year by around 5%. There is no reservation. Merit cum need is available for students whose family income is less than 15 lakhs
Likes
- There are a lot of clubs and departments in the college, where you get to learn team spirit, leadership and management along with acquiring skills.
- The practice sschool system in BITS is expensive but is very effective. It provides internships to students based on thir Branch and CGPA.
Dislikes
- The ratio of boys and girls is approxilately 1:8. More no. of boys in clubs and associations somethimes makes it uneasy for girls to participate.
- The marking sysytem is extremly tough, if your procedure is correct but the final answer is not correct because of some small calculation mistakes
Fees and Financial Aid:
The tuition and hostel fees in BITS are increased by 15% every year. I am mentioning all the fees in INR. In 2021 when I entered the college the tuition fee was 2,18,000 per semester hostel fees were 10,000 per semester and the mess fee was 4000 per month. With the increase of 15%, in the year 2024, the tuition fees have become 2,75,000 per semester, hostel fees have become 20,000 per semester, and mess fees 5000 per month. The fess is different for all batches and changes for each batch every year according to the 15% increase rule. The fees increase a bit for all the upcoming new batches. The Practice school system PS-1 PS-2 takes additional fees of 80,000 - 1,00,000 and it may increase further also. There is no fee concession for SC ST or OBC. Fee is same for all. There is a Merit Cum need scholarship provided to children whose parent's annual income is below 12LPA. Scholarship is granted to students based on their CGPA. For eg. 25% scholarship for CGPA above 6.5 and below 7.5.

Fees and Financial Aid:
The turion fee for a semester is 2,45,000 with a 5% increase every year. Summer term is for 81,000. Admission fee is 50,900. Hostel fee is 22,900 and mess and electrtricity advance is 10,000. Students can avail Merit cum need scholarship which gives upto 90% off on tution fee for too 1% students.

- The campus has very bright minds. Because there’s no reservation, everyone here has come based purely off their academic merits.
- The campus is beautiful and equipped with all necessary shops and places.
Dislikes
- The fees is a little over the board and keeps increasing every year.
- A few clubs seem pointless, while most tech clubs are amazing.
Fees and Financial Aid:
I will pay around 285000, fees per year, this includes Hostel and tuition fees. Along with this, twice in our course, we have to go for practise schools(PS), which are industrial internships that you have to pay 850000 for. The first PS-1, is unpaid for you, in the second one, you get paid. Usually the pay will range from 80000, to anywhere upto 300000. There's no management category or reservation so no different in fees. Along with that, you get Scholarships if you are in the top 1% (100% tuition fees) and top 3% (40% tuition fees.)

- Very high fees makes it unaffordable for some very high minds
- Grading system is very difficult and average CG's are low

- Firstly the campus is really awesome. It's about 328 acres campus area so you will have a lot to explore in these 4 years. The campus have every single amenities that you want whether it be entertainment related or Acads related.
- The seniors of BITS Pilani are the one thing that you can't compare to any other college. Seniors here are very helpful and you can ask them any doubts related to academics or non academics
Dislikes
- The washroom hygiene is not very good. The hostel buildings need maintainence. But you will cope up with this. Also the mess food is hygienic but the taste is not up to the mark.

Year wise fees is 690000. Tution fees of bits is 540000 , hostel and mess fees is 40000 each . There are two scholarship criteria , merit cum need and only merit based. MCN is for students whose parents have ITR less than 15lakh. To avail it generally the cgpa cutoff is 8.5 or above . For merit based top 1% students gets 100% schlorship. Fees for students in cse and are in top1% is neigible as compared to the rest, its around 40000 per year.

- The seniors and alumni are really helpful

- The hostel facilities can be improved even though the hostel fees is quite less but still

- Firstly, it was the peer group. Bits Pilani has a wonderful peer group which helps during the college and also after college. The Bits alumni network is unmatched and the quality it brings is outstanding.
- The clubs at Bits pilani is also a remarkable thing, the clubs here at bits teach you a lot whether it be coding or finance or cybersecurity, everything is to notch.
Dislikes
- I disliked the fact that there is 0 percent attendance. There should be a bare minimum percentage of attendance like 20-30 percent so students actively participate in classes.
- The fees is hiking every year which is not a good thing, yeah it's a private college but making the fees higher can affect the quality of students coming to bits. Some deserving candidates might miss it coz of financial status.
Fees and Financial Aid:
The fee is 6 lakhs per year and it increases by 1.5 percent or so every year. The complete cost of education is roughly 30 lakhs and might increase in the upcoming years. There are two provisions for scholarship namely MCN and MERIT CUM NEED SCHOLARSHIP. we get two internships namely ps1 and ps2. Ps1 is unpaid while ps2 is unpaid. I got 50k for 6 months while my 6 months internship.
