The course curriculum was well maintained with proper handouts before the semester. Also we got the exam dates beforehand so we can plan our semester accordingly. The curriculum was flexible which allowed us to balance it according to our needs. The tests and evaluatives were evenly spaced and we had enough time to prepare for it. The areas of improvement include a unique style of teaching, reduction in scaling of marks and also absolute grading in courses with low strength

My rank in BITSAT was the decisive factor. The curriculm was not something I wanted to get into. But if you are interested then its a mecca for you. Professors are connected in foreign universities and can offer you great chance to explore your potential

I would rate the course 10/10 as it is a well-distributed course over the semester. Tutorial exams are regularly conducted and are the easiest to score. They hold less weight than midsem and comprehensive exams. The midsem exams are conducted in the mid of the semester and have half the syllabus. The comprehensive exams are conducted at the end of the course and is of the highest weightage they are difficult to score

The courses in bits are apt and precise. They follow what most of the indian colleges do. Although the courses are medium in difficulty the grading here in Goa is hard as compared to Hyderabad and pilani campuses.
The course was my sencond option after cse because of interest in automobile. after the first year because of common courses the faculty to student ratio improves by a lot. the faculty is extremely qualified and are really good, some are strict as is expected but all in all they genuienly try to help students out. Exams were divided into mid tems after two months and comprehensives which happen at the end of the semester. Theres no pass/fail criterion but relative grading and its hard to get good grades because of extreme competetion
B.E. Mechanical from BITS - Goa was a good choice for me. The professors here have great knowledge about their specific field. We had around 125 students for the mechanical branch. The branch had a total of around 15-20 faculty members. There are surprising quizzes, midterm and final comprehensive exams.
The course is decent with low to moderate difficulty. Chose it out of interest. Major areas of mechanical engineering are covered, with a moderate level of practical knowledge provided. Faculty: student ratio is on the lower side, classes tend to be a bit crowded. Teaching methods are standard (PPT and lecture-based) with only selected faculty employing any unconventional means. Quizzes keep happening regularly, many of which are surprise tests. There is a mid-sem and an end-sem (compare) system.
we have different course curriculum when compared to other colleges and universities our final gpa will be considered from internal marks labs and attendance. Faculty in our college are experienced for more than 20 years and they care of every student
Every course offered in our college is said to be updated every 3 years. As for industrial exposure, I think 1st year students needn't have any. The faculty is very interactive and passionate about their subjects
Best curriculum similar to MIT,USA. Faculties are very pronounced and very much expert in their fields. They had studied from best colleges all over the world. Academics are very much free. You can choose your own time table and subject
