The pharmacy course in Bits Pilani is offered only at its two campuses namely the Pilani campus and the Hyderabad campus. The course is very well developed by the esteemed professors of the department with all the necessary information that should be given to the students. The curriculum prepares you very well for the competitive exams for your higher degree. The curriculum always keeps upgrading as this field in itself is very diversified with everyday coming innovations and discoveries. The exams are no doubt difficult but they indeed prepare you very well to stand out as an Bitsian in the society.
In the pharmacy course all the professors are highly qualified in the field and my reason for choosing pharmacy is my interest in the pharmacy sector and the increment in the sector after Covid-19.The student faculty ratio is 2:1.Term exams were mildly tough and would be easy to pass for a good student.

The faculty is very experienced; some are industry experts in their respective fields. The professors are approachable and polite as well as transparent. All the faculty are PhDs in different verticals and have a decent educational background if not less. There are around 2 faculties for 50 students. The exams are conducted on regular basis and there are multiple evaluation criteria ranging from tutorial tests, lab components, assignments, seminars, midsem, and comprehensive examinations.
- Overall development and exposure to various domains - 1:5 faculty to student ratio and student-based teaching pedagogy - All faculty had doctoral/post-doctoral degree - All exams on time and course dependent difficulty

The B.Pharma curriculum is designed to match the requirements of the Pharmacy Council Of India.
Bachelors in Pharmacy is one of the highly structured programs of BITS. Full course is covered in 8 modules. In your 3rd year, you can opt for projects along with regular courses. There are various electives you can choose to go for a specific career path. There is one teacher for every 60 students of a class. Pedagogy was followed. The faculty members were nice enough to conduct extra classes for the doubt clearing sessions.
I am interested in getting knowledge about the human body and medicines are developed for the betterment of the lifestyle, mitigate the risks of diseases and prevent them in the first place. Faculty to student ratio is quite good here. Each year almost 1100 students get admission to the Pilani campus. Approximately 1 prof for every 100 students(considering only first year students)
Faculty of our college are awesome. This course provides a very basic knowledge in building a career in pharma hence syllabus of our course can be improved a little. Students are free to choose their schedule and teachers. Teachers help us in everypossible way to make sure we get the concepts.
The fee for a normal single degree is around 14 lakhs right now. However, thanks to the fee hike of 15% introduced by our campus trustees the fees is rising at a rate faster than the downfall of Congress and will soon suck us dry into the BPL category.
In my opinion, a B Pharmacy at BITS Pilani is better than a BTech in mining at NIT Raipur. There are many opportunities one can avail of by doing this course. Some of them have been listed below
In all, choosing a B Pharmacy at BITS Pilani will offer better opportunities than a BTech in mining at NIT Raipur.
My brother used to be a student of BITS Pilani and from what he has heard; it is not a good institute for students who want to pursue pharmacy.
You should pursue pharmacy at BITS Pilani only if you have a strong background in physics, chemistry, and biology or you cannot get admission to some other institute.
Even if you do have a strong background in the three subjects, the chances of getting converted to a different stream are very low. You have to obtain a CGPA of or higher than 9.8. It is simply too high and getting a 257 just will not be enough.
On the other hand, BITS is a very reputed institute. It is highly praised by my friend and a lot of the students and former students as well. It is a very good institute but pharmacy is just not its forte. It would be better if you look for other institutes if you want to pursue pharmacy.
