Remarks :

BITSAT is an online exam. The whole admission process after getting selected into BITS Pilani, went smoothly and took 2 days. For admission in BITS, a quota system does not exist. The minimum marks for getting admission depend on the number of seats and the number of students appearing. To be on the safer side it is advised to score at least 200 to get B.Pharmacy. But, to get CSE cut off goes as high as 400+. On the day of admission, one needs to go to the selected campus and then the registration card is given, hostel room allotted followed other formalities.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I am interested in getting knowledge about the human body and medicines are developed for the betterment of the lifestyle, mitigate the risks of diseases and prevent them in the first place. Faculty to student ratio is quite good here. Each year almost 1100 students get admission to the Pilani campus. Approximately 1 prof for every 100 students(considering only first year students)

Internships Opportunities :

I did my internship(Practice School 1)as a market researcher due to work from him in Incozen Therapeutics. My project was to map the pharmaceutical companies in the MENA region which produce anti-cancerous drugs. Practice School 2 begins in the fourth year for one semester chosen by the student.

Placement Experience :

Our college has an excellent placement record, although not as good for B.pharmacy. The student becomes eligible for placement in their final year. A lot of MNCs come. Companies like Microsoft hire around 40-50 students with the offer of 40lpa. The lowest package goes around 6-7 LPA. After getting the degree I plan to get a job and prepare for MBA.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee hike is almost 10 percent per year. There is two types of scholarships provided. One is Merit Cum Need: Based on the annual income of family if less than 4 lakh per annum and the CGPA. Another is Merit purely for the top scorers.

Campus Life :

We have three fests. Oasis is a cultural fest where students from different colleges participate in various events. BOSM is the annual sports meet and APOGEE is the annual tech fest. Thousands of books are kept in the library. Some rare books are also there. The library is really comfortable with many rooms out of which there are two AC rooms. There are computer sections as well. A snacking place with tea and coffee. Classrooms have projectors and blackboards. New buildings have AC as well. Sports activities like cricket, football, basketball, volleyball to carrom, chess, snooker, taewkondo and a lot more are practiced. There are numerous clubs and departments in the college , everything you can ever think of. Students can create theri own clubs as well.

Hostel Facilities :

Single rooms and Double rooms are well furnished with a bed, study table, chair, drawer and cupboard/almirah for each student. Food is tasty and fresh. The menu is different for all 7 days. The registration process is completed in 2 days after coming to the campus There is no PG.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I did choose this course as I was interested in medical science although I wanted to become a doctor I didn't pass NEET so I choose to go with pharmacy. The faculty of pharmacy is highly qualified and has friendly behavior towards students. They are always ready to help each student. The teachers have masters and Ph.D. in their respective subjects and have good knowledge. There are 2 sessional exams in one semester and each student has to be present during the exam as this is an important exam as it is used for internal assessment. The exams are conducted every 3 months and the question paper was quite difficult as semester exams.
